Hi Anna, thanks for this great daily podcast! I've never heard "scalding" used in the context you mention, I'd normally say a scathing review or report. Am I wrong?

Scathing review/report is commonly used. :)

Hello Anna, please correct me if I'm wrong or have misunderstood, but isn't "scolding" in the sense of "disapproving" spelled with an "o"? Thank you.
Let me also tell you that I really enjoy listening to your "5 a day" series and your podcasts. Thumbs up to you and your wonderful channel. On top of that, you have a voice that's very pleasant on the ears. 🙂🎶🎵🌸

They are similar words. Look at this link, scroll down for the adjective scalding as I have used it: dictionary.cambridge.org/dictionary/english/scalding
Thank you for your kind words :)

and so do I, teacher..I usully drink nearly four liters of water. Never lose this habit. It makes you stronger against getting cold or flu. ans why , you and me are living with opposite antagonist weather and both have one thing in common, when it is cold, you need water because you body is fighting every now and then toward the cold, in my case is against the hot. People are ignorant about it the more cold or hot, the more water you must intake. morning. as usual good job. don't forger rehydrate when you finish you daily running working out. on the other hand i use moisturizer HD + 50 UV , here the sun is absolutely dangerous from march to october, tourist are a reskless people with it. out I go now. Golden rule , eight (glass of water) a day. scalding is like Spanish one escaldado and the same meaning.

Yes Laura, the High Court of Justice in London has so far only postponed extradition. They have said that the US must give assurances that he will not be sentenced to death. This shows that they still intend to extradite him, even though he faces up to 175 years in prison simply for doing his job as a journalist and exposing US misdeeds, abuses and war crimes. It's a scandal, a disgrace, and he must be released immediately. Let's hope, however, that Great Britain will change its mind and make the right decision...Popular support and demonstrations continue. As a last resort, there's still an appeal to the European High Court of Justice, which will hopefully help this time!
Thanks for your support! Have a nice day. Bisous :-)
