@GamingKingdome this was a rollback. The people on the ground when the train comes back down are not in same position as they were when the train went up.
Best way to enjoy the ride is by letting go of stiffening your muscles. If you don't trust the security stuff that holds you in there, grabbing onto it for dear life won't help in case of an accident.

That is my dream. I nearly experienced a rollback on top thrill dragster but nope the wind blew us down. We were stuck for like 30 sec but the wind got us down sadly.

I think its Dragster at Cedar point that gives out free t shirts, even though its WAY rarer here It only happens for the first few days of every season on Stealth as the computer needs to adjust.
This was filmed on Saturday 18th March at Passholder preview day and we are fairly sure this was the 2nd roll back. Perhaps you were on the first one just after 10am? The ride queue was cleared after 2nd rollback. Stealth reopened later and it happened a 3rd time so perhaps you were on one of those trains?
It's an amazing ride! No need to be scared, not only are Rollbacks extremely rare but the ride is designed to be able to Rollback safely. So in the extremely unlikely event you do Rollback you'll never be in any danger. You just might join a very exclusive club who have experienced a Rollback! Enjoy your trip on Monday!
It’s just like Top Thrill Dragster at Cedar Point! The ride did however get shut down, but they made a new ride called Top Thrill 2, which is even better. You should check it out! It’s in Sandusky Ohio, and it’s apparently the biggest amusement park in the world (minus all the theme parks)
Yeah that's right it is Top Thrills little brother and yeah we'd love to check out Cedar Point one day, however Top Thrill 2 had had a lot of problems and was only open briefly, it's now been announced that it won't reopen this season
It's because, although the ride is designed to allow this to happen safely, it isn't supposed to happen, so it's an incredibly rare experience very few people will ever get to ride.
It's perfectly safe lol, it's designed to accommodate for roll back. Stealth is one of the safest rides there are. However I could see why this would scare some people. Me personally I've been on this ride many times never had a rollback though but would love to experience it, would make the ride even more thrilling lol

I experienced a rollback on stealth in 2018 or so! I didn’t know how safe they were yet at that point, so the moment at the top when we started rolling back was pretty terrifying, however I think that they should definitely add backwards facing seats because retrospectively the thrill of that was awesome!

Yeah, we have. Our first ride wasn't great. Lots of rattle overshadowed all positive elements of the ride. However, our second ride right at the front was far better, and we were really impressed with it.

I have done this! My mum and I had waited for the front row when a hailstorm hit the park, they allowed everyone to stay or go if they wanted to as they stopped the ride, my mum and I looked at each other and she asked me if I wanted to leave and come back later, I said no as we had already queued for 40 minutes. So we waited and when the rain finally stopped they sent the car round empty a few times before loading the first two cars of the coaster we went up slowed at the top and then started our decent backwards. I remember the pair behind us was a man and a woman and it was the woman's first time on the ride and I remember her screaming "oh my god we're going backwards!" Was the best feeling ever. They took us off and ran it a few more times empty before once again only loading the first two, we got over that time
You should come over sometime, they are good, especially when there is an event on, although it can be quieter earlier in the year. I'd allow a couple of days at each park since the ride availability can be spotty sometimes

They do have a sign about rollbacks at the entrance to Stealth and we have been saying it a lot in our replies, rollbacks are completely safe. In fact you're lucky if you get to ride one!

There was a ride at 6 flas in Gurnee Illinois that you did a forward loop to straight upwards then roll backwards through the loop tonthe starting position I loved that ride... i cannot remember the name at this time... it was awesome...
It's a fluke. It's pretty rare it happens, which is why so many enthusiasts hope they get the chance. Like you say the ride is designed to do this safely.

I wonder if it was early on in the morning. I worked on Big Thunder mountain in Paris and this happened very early on in the morning a few times before opening when it was a really cold day, but it took a couple of hours to reset coz it wasn’t supposed to happen 😂
There are two trains, but there are brakes at the bottom of the top hat where the launch is, which are on by default. They have to be released electronically for launch. So the train just brakes automatically if it rolls back. Stealth takes them about 15 mins to reset after a rollback.
@amuseaholics makes sense the time when there's still grease on wheels from their maintenance inspections I remember waiting in line when it was a regular thing and everyone cheering in line when it happened and hoping they would get one unfortunately I never did
@@Chris-xo2rq It is shorter, but it is more intense. The acceleration is faster, so it is wrong to say it is a kiddie coaster compared to Ka and TTD. They excel in different ways (height vs. intensity)

My mum and I had waited for the front row when a hailstorm hit the park, they allowed everyone to stay or go if they wanted to as they stopped the ride, my mum and I looked at each other and she asked me if I wanted to leave and come back later, I said no as we had already queued for 40 minutes. So we waited and when the rain finally stopped they sent the car round empty a few times before loading the first two cars of the coaster we went up slowed at the top and then started our decent backwards. I remember the pair behind us was a man and a woman and it was the woman's first time on the ride and I remember her screaming "oh my god we're going backwards!" Was the best feeling ever. They took us off and ran it a few more times empty before once again only loading the first two, we got over that time

There is a coaster like the at park asterix that goes up falls back and goes over its rlly fun called totatus

Yeah, you should give it a go. Thorpe Park is great, and next year, they are opening Hyperia, the tallest and fastest rollercoaster in the UK!

You should come over sometime, they are good, especially when there is an event on, although it can be quieter earlier in the year. I'd allow a couple of days at each park since the ride availability can be spotty sometimes

Yes, It is adjusted based on the weight, but evidently, it wasn't calculated or executed correctly on this occasion

I rolled back on the top thrill dragster at cedar point. It’s essentially the exact same rollercoaster but just about double the height.

If im correct sometimes if the velocicoaster in universal doesn’t get enough speed it rolls back and they relaunch you
Yeah, I think Velocicoaster has rolled back before. However, Stealth has to be pulled back to the station and reset before it can launch again
Top thrill dragster is a suspension coaster, I recall my daughter took her shoes off when flying on the track

In Ferrari land in barcelona spain they had signs everywhere about rollbacks and dont be scared saw none tho :(
They do have a sign about rollbacks at the entrance to Stealth and we have been saying it a lot in our replies, rollbacks are completely safe. In fact you're lucky if you get to ride one!

There was a ride at 6 flas in Gurnee Illinois that you did a forward loop to straight upwards then roll backwards through the loop tonthe starting position I loved that ride... i cannot remember the name at this time... it was awesome...

It's a fluke. It's pretty rare it happens, which is why so many enthusiasts hope they get the chance. Like you say the ride is designed to do this safely.
@@amuseaholics ah rite thanks! I did wonder when I heard everyone cheering, I’m guessing there’s only one train in case this happens and it crashed into the one in the station. I wonder if it was early on in the morning. I worked on Big Thunder mountain in Paris and this happened very early on in the morning a few times before opening when it was a really cold day, but it took a couple of hours to reset coz it wasn’t supposed to happen 😂
There are two trains, but there are brakes at the bottom of the top hat where the launch is, which are on by default. They have to be released electronically for launch. So the train just brakes automatically if it rolls back. Stealth takes them about 15 mins to reset after a rollback.

@amuseaholics makes sense the time when there's still grease on wheels from their maintenance inspections I remember waiting in line when it was a regular thing and everyone cheering in line when it happened and hoping they would get one unfortunately I never did

@@Chris-xo2rq It is shorter, but it is more intense. The acceleration is faster, so it is wrong to say it is a kiddie coaster compared to Ka and TTD. They excel in different ways (height vs. intensity)
