- Welcome back folks! This video is 15 more things I personally found helpful when I learned them. Some of the tips are a little more in depth in this video as they have to do with weapon upgrading and different armor categories. Hopefully there will be some new information in here for you all, and you guys can learn from some of the mistakes I made along the way. People highly misunderstand Armor, and I get questioned a lot by Squad Members who join up. I'll explain here:
Combat Top Line: PvP/Raids/Missions
Combat Bottom Line: PvE/Mutant Farming, you can make tons of Rubles farming in this Set(I make about 100k every 2 hours in this Set), it has the best Bleeding and Melee Resistance of all armors.
Explorer: This gear is excellent for Running Around, Looting, and Carrying it all back. It also has the best Stamina to Carry Weight ratios of any armor sets. Finding special items such as Cheap Tools and later on other items, requires lots of looting. I run around in this set when all I am doing is checking all Loot areas I have marked on the Map. When I return, I sell every thing on the Auction House, or restock my Stash. Starting later in the game, cash can become very tight!
Explorer Top Line: This is for Superior Weight Capacity and Resistance
Explorer Bottom Line: This is for a more well rounded Approach
Combo: This name is misleading. Reading several of the Armor descriptions brings out the proper terminology for this Armor sets: ARTIFACT HUNTING. These armor sets are compatible with all Backpacks and Containers. Allowing you to store plenty of Artifacts, and make use of them, while offering Resistance on par nearly with Scientist sets. The purpose of these armor sets is for surviving anomalies and hunting for their artifacts.
Scientist: This armor eventually splits into multiple lines depending on the situation you will be approaching. However in general, Scientist sets are for surviving anomalous activities, and just plain HELL ONE EARTH. There are several areas, mission and content that CANNOT BE DONE unless you are wearing one of these. They also are extremely limited on what Backpacks and Containers you can equip, and offer very little resistances against Mutants, AI, and Player encounters. You can hunt for artifacts in these, and I see several players often doing that, however you can't carry much, and you are a paper tiger.

This all good, but exbo preparing a huge armor and artifact rebalance, so everything can be changed. Also I think this is main reason why master tier things still not added to eu

@@MaximumAggro some interesting info. Master servers is like a hell on ru, some guys just quitting the game when system starts to throw them to master serv. For more understanding, if you play veterans your account worth between 2-15kk, if you play half master between 25-80kk, and if you are on masters 80kk-1kkk
Is that in rubles? And master servers as in all your gear is red I assume?
Been about 40hrs on the bar and the radio its the only thing that keep the farming stress at low, those tunes are 🔥🔥
I may turn them back on eventually just to change it up.
Learning those upgrades being carried over to the next tier is such a relief. I think it's a good mechanic that rewards planning of what gear tree to go for.
Yeah otherwise it would be pointless to upgrade until you had the best weapons.
Another tip during surviving emissions if you think you can't make it underground is to listen to the emission background noise. If you hear the emission noise being muffled or soft, that means you're safe from it and you won't take damage. There are some open areas near the surface that are safe from emissions. (This is also why in the online interactive Stalcraft map there are some areas labeled as "Shelter" even though you find nothing there)

I would describe more precisely how the Metal Detector works, yes, it discharges if you just hold it in your hand, but you don't need to replace it with the Main Weapon, just take the weapon from the second slot, and when the Detector needs to get it again. Also, when you scan the area of the SAK-1, it is not necessary to wait for the end of the scan, it is enough to wait for 6 light bulbs and turn off the toggle switch on the Detector.
I would supplement the guide with this information:
1. Never kill opponents with a weapon that is not suitable for them, you will just waste cartridges that in some situations will be worth their weight in gold for you, in short Shotguns, pistols, Submachine guns for Mutants at close range.
2. Do not try to shoot a shotgun from an NPC from a very long distance, yes, you can certainly kill an opponent, but it will take a long time. Machine guns, pistols, snipers, etc. for NPCs/Players.
3. Dogs, carcasses, pseudo-dogs can be killed with a Knife using an Alternative Attack, it will be much more economical than if you shoot them from a machine gun releasing the entire store. Snorks and Bloodsuckers, in principle, can also be killed with a Knife, but I think you won't like what happens to you if you try to do it, keep in mind these mutants are very fast. It will be easier to kill them with a shotgun.
4. When hunting a Pseudo-Giant, it is better to use a shotgun of the type SPAS-12 or Saiga along with the type of shot cartridges, so you will cause more damage to the enemy
5. As soon as you have a shotgun Pellet, I advise you to immediately throw out all those cartridges that you found before, the pellet will now be your best friend until the end of the game.
6. Did you all find the Hut of the Green Grandfather in the Swamp?
Hmm I guess I missed the hut you're talking about. Is it just a lore location or is there a quest I missed there?

@@MaximumAggro Make a video about this, and in general I heard in STALCRAFT there are many more Easter eggs and references about which few people know
a small tip that suprizingly most people i come across don't know. if you are searching for caches and you have good equipment ATTACK BASES. those areas are heavily guarded but if you can take them out ( for example aluminum farming) go to the solder base and take it out. the back area behind that bastion spawns a lot of aluminum wire caches. i pulled 60 from attacking that base once and its renewable.
Yeah I've noticed that lots of the aluminum and copper areas also spawn soldier/stalker/bandit encampment around them.
I can also say farming aluminum on my stalker was easier than the Bandit in the fact that I found it much more often. Even though Stalkers outnumber Bandits in total numbers the Bandit aluminum spots are always farmed out. I would regularly get 50+ aluminum on my stalker, and the Bandit in the same time would barely get 20.
almost 200 hrs in this game and NEVER knew i could leave in the last minute of an emission lol. great vid!

Bonus tip 1: The best metal resource farming are areas the most dangerous. Example Agropon, that is full of chemical hazard. You can farm up to 250 aluminum there in 10 minutes just walking in circles. It is a death trap though to newbees unprepared or have no scientist gear.
Bonus tip 2: I'm heavily PVE play, always pack flashbangs. Throw it in the open and run, if they peak they get blinded while that 3 seconds is enough to make a run for it or tactical location change.
Bonus tip 3: You forgot also the hold TAB button to identify if the nearby player is friendly or enemy. Enemy player's can't see the chat wheels while friendly players can.

Dude your tip videos are the best ones I’ve found on TH-cam they’re actual tips and useful information, I would say once you’ve figured out all the tips you can think and done the videos do one more video with all the tips consolidated. Also I look forward to making use of all your bandit quest guides

@@MaximumAggro I regret finding them so late as I’ve invested allot into the combat armor and have learned the issue with backpacks the hardest haha
Here is a tip, if you turn on anight vision goggles and the emission is about to begin, the screen will shake, it will give u around 3-5 seconds to get to a bunker, it's helpful if u are near enemies' base or you can wait a little bit outside of a bunker and throw grenade in the bunker

Wow ive been playing for a bit and i didnt know alot of stuff you talked about in this video so it was a very good watch for me. I hope you keep updating the stallcraft tips and advice because there really isnt any English speaking youtubers doing it. TLDR great vid keep up the good work lol

Lil tip...when u using the signal detector u don't have to wait till finishes,just turn it off when the sixth red light is one , basically over 50% scanning progress and u still get the signal if it's in range...saves time and charge on the scanner
I'll have to give that a shot, I hate when it pops up and I am in combat lol.
Tip: Shift + Tab, then open 1st guide and you can open the emission timer, then choose your server and press ESC, don't close it. When you want to check, just press again shift + tab

expanding tip#3 skipping guns/armor it seems is only at the 2nd base, for players that leave the starting base quickly (most experienced players).
make what you want/need at base 2 there before going to base 3, so make your combat and scientist suit to bring with you.
A lot of people recommended Combo armor as an early game, understandable as its best of both worlds kinda deal. The issue that I have had is being a Bandit and having Stalkers _everywhere_ i needed the higher bullet resistance to do anything in the game because Stalkers, both Players and NPC's, are everywhere and so if they are sitting at a quest point i.e. Bridge at Cordon, I wouldn't be able to approach since I would get nuked. I might keep my current Combat at the Ghillie Suit and upgrade my Combo - ive found the Ghillie suit actually works on players
One massive tip that I can give - you can open the crafting menu without needing to be in the safe zone. If you are out in the open hit M, zoom into the base and then double click the icon for the Barter Guy and it will pop up. You can also do this within the Safe Zone so you don't need to run to them
Low level pvp you will get torched with whatever gear you are wearing for the most part, even the Combat armor. the TTK at low level is insane.

@@MaximumAggro the Combo Armor, at least the Ghillie, doesn't have the Plate Slot where as the Combat does. That extra bit of shielding is at least saving me during the PVE. PVP is still such a high TTK
@@birphon Yeah the Combo armor doesn't get a plate slot till you get the one from Rep 1 Garages/Photon-2 sadly.
The reason I recommend Combo is it has over 100 rad so you can enter those areas of the map without having to carry a scientist suit in your bags.
22:11 The little dot next to "Signal" blinks if there's a stash (reminder they are time limited so if you see the blinking and don't find anything - 1. you are unlucky 2.the time of that stash run out

3 huge hint for Signal scanning, if you scan during a low intensity blinker, or the blinker is going crazy and then dies out if you move. You are simply on the edge of a Signal, switch to the Medium scan, it cost more energy but it will save a lot more energy than moving around and doing small scans. Another huge hint I see beginners do is fully scanning, you don't have to fully scan to find the signal, you can turn it on, wait a few seconds, and then off to get the signal, but it really depends on where you are relative to the signal and the amount of dots the scanner did. Lastly, you don't need your range scanner in your secondary, the range scanner helps to find which direction the signal is in if the direction changes, which changes every 10-20%, you can switch to your pistol and keep on moving, this may help if you aren't running a shotgun or just prefer how broken pistols are.

but can u explain the rifts cause idk how u "take a lot of damge" is it possible to survive it or must u die?
If you are in the emission, you have 2 minutes to find a bunker or somewhere underground. After 2 minutes you take 20% of your health every second. So you can't live if you're outside for more than a few seconds after the 2 minute mark.
So you for sure will die if you're stuck outside after 2 minutes.
Appreciate the guides a lot especially since it's very rare to find English speakers that make them.
I have a suggestion though, it would be great if you can give tips on where or how make money(rubles) in game because I just realized how expensive most items are.
I can for sure try and put together a money making guide after the quest guides are done! Need to do more end game things so I am more knowledgeable about everything before then I feel though.

Yep! I made the +5 SVT and when I made it into the SVD it was still +5.
Sorry for the dumb question but is there a way to rotate items in your inventory? I just started playing this game on the steam deck so be easy on me lol. Thanks for the content its great for a newbie like myself.
It's all good man! As far as I have found there isn't a way to rotate items. Ive hit every button trying and nada. I think the closest we have is the little autosort button to rearrange everything.

hi , thx for the videos its quite helpfull , do u know if there is an other way to hide/show the checkpoints beside F1 ? If u actually mark the bunkers , between the zone events , the death marks the quests and the bunkers its quite disturbing when u take a fight u can barely see what ur shooting at . F1 is low u cant see the radar/ur hp bar and if ur aiming at an enemy or ally
As of now there isn't, I wish they would add a way to only show way-point per area if you wanted. I don't need to see way-points in the pit if I am in the Cordon

Huh, I thought the metal detector only works when equiped in the main slot while holding the gun to not draw on the battery. So it works even when it is in the backpack with my main gun equiped?
Yep it will still beep in the backpack.
Waypoints carry over if you're playing bandit/stalker or vice versa. It's easier to find shelters on the opposite side of the map if your faction controls it. That way no matter what faction your main is on you can still find shelter in a pinch.

How do i get the wide and short range detectors? I can't find where i can buy or craft them.
From the main story quest, after you make it to the pit or the forest (depending if you're bandit or stalker)
Just found this game, and i'm enjoying it a lot. Do i need to get the first base to level 4 before i can buy from the garages (Loner)? It says trade possible , but it will not let me
You have to be physically at the next base to buy from it. As in can't buy from garages if you in swamp.
@@MaximumAggro well i am in the garages, and the option to pay is greyed out, i can access the other vendors at garages, but the weapons tree guy wont sell to me. I'm attempting to buy the SKS rail. i am going to hop back on and give it another try. Thanks for responding!

They are obtained through the main story quest. The metal detector is the very first quest in this video.

I'm not sure if you have done it but can you do a guide on what are the best artifacts to use. I have a Hellboy backpack but everytime I try to equip anything it just tries to kill me lol
I haven't done an artifact build guide yet because I am still trying to learn about them all myself, but as soon as I get a better understanding of them I will make one!

i have played in this game: 316 hours and i want to use THUG suit in EXPLORER the thing is the BIO. Rad is broken is it still good to wear ? or continue in this suit ?
Explorer tree is good as long as you continue to upgrade your suit, I would work toward the Skat 9 explorer suit

That works for running around for sure! I always find myself in PVP situations though, because I am drawn to gunfire like a moth to the flame, so I end up wishing I was wearing something with some bullet res.
@@MaximumAggro Well for me when I pvp I move around a lot, and I haven't been to the rad bar yet, so when I go into The Dump I always find myself dying to radiation or psyinfection and other things.
Especially when trying to avoid going through the tunnel that is almost always camped.
@@zacheryrex3621 Yeah you have to find a happy medium for sure. Eventually you will need a scientist armor for some of the far north zone locations anyway so why not make it early.

Does that give it 100% stability?
270.44 with 3 AN/PEQ 15 or 232% with the mini green laser

Where do you get the weapon and armor components to fix durability?
As far as I know you get some through quests, and you can loot them in the northern zones from air supply drops. You can also get some from being a premium sub from the daily rewards. Those are the only ways that I know of. If there are any other ways maybe someone can throw them in the comments here.
@@MaximumAggro Ah thanks, I'm about to go to the Bar and I upgraded my AK but i lost 20% durability to get it to +5 and the prices on the AH are really high.

Oh yeah I have done that for the memes haha, I had somewhere between 2000-3000 hours in Tarkov before I stopped playing it. You can burn someones eyes out with the amount of flashlights you can throw on a gun in that game lol.

Haha yeah it started as a minecraft mod in Russia.
Btw we can't go over +5 on anything yet.. max is +15 on Russia servers but we don't have that much content.. I want covenant armor gives 250 bullet resistance and 300 melee but we don't have faction armors yet it pisses me off
Good to know! I knew some of the comments on my videos were saying that +15 was max but they warned not to go over +5 until end game. I'm guessing they may have been RU players and were relaying info for future updates. I welcome all the helpful info though!

From the Main story quests in the Dump. Working on editing those quest videos as we speak :)

where do we get cheap tools
You get some from quest, some from daily login rewards and also from looting containers in the world.
Farm scientist armor untill worn Reaper/Seva or lolite(seva and reaper are better for self defence against human NPC and players, lolite has better protection against the enviroment) for north farming. For example: yanov outskirts have t2 rads and t1 psy EVERYWHERE + you need around t3 of everything for efficient farming. Also turning off music in safezones is blasphemy.
Yeah I haven't made it too far into the north zones yet, which is why I only really spoke to the early game armor. But thanks for the info on the different Scientist armors! I was wondering how far you actually needed to go in that tree.
And as far as the safe zone music the main reason I had to turn it off was for videos lol, Trying to talk over it/edit the video with it in the background was a bit of a pain.
Where can we get tools?
Cheap tools come from some quests. Or can be looted from containers in the world. Also login rewards are sometimes tools. The green and blue text level tools I have only gotten from login rewards and quests, but someone mentioned that air drops in the north give tools as well.
