I was screaming so bad the first time watching it and asking why Ongsa did that
then when I rewatch and rewatch ...
look at Ongsa's face when she was looking at Sun in the last part
She truly believes that the only way to make Sun happy is to send the bracelet on behave of Earth...
and it turns out as she expected, Sun was immediately happy the moment she see that card
Is it selfish? yes she is, she's scared of losing the friendship for sure
but also she's doing what she thought the only thing she can do to keep Sun happy
The way she did it at the swing is like she's ready for Sun to hate Earth and just end it like that
But the moment she received messages from Sun she just can't do it
Even though keeping it up would make her feel terrible... (and both of them eventually )
She just can't let it be like that :(

The amount of frustratation that this ep gave me! I agree it is a good ep but... dang, it made my week filled with sadness... 😢 it hurts to see Sun cry but i broke when Ongsa word came...
The new ost didnt make it any easier.. as it is created from Ongsa POV! Which makes it even sadder!!! Pls read the lyrics to the new ost! Guaranteed to hurt ur heart
I've had a similar situation like Ongsa. I honestly have no idea why i never clarified that i was a girl when we talked. I guess i didn't want to disappoint that person when they find out that im a girl 😅. Unlike Ongsa after talking for a while and becoming good friends. They kept asking about meeting irl so i stopped talking to them for almost 4 yrs solely because i was afraid of them finding out, so i understand Ongsa feelings. What i did was wrong and selfish but my fear of losing and disappointing that person overtook doing the right thing and its something i will carry forever. This shame and guilt of what I've done will stay in me for forever.
I have same story... That fear of confrontation!! I still miss talking to them.. but it's good for their mental health
