I think this is the best of in all of Ely's english compositions. Very unique syntax. It segues beautifully from a CONTEMPLATIVE STANZA to a WISTFUL PRE-CHORUS and ROARING CHORUS, closing with a CLIMACTIC SOLO AND STRINGS and RESILIENT AND IDYLLIC vocals. Its lyrics are thought provoking instead of being mushy. It's just MELODRAMA, FANTASY AND SCIENCE ROLLED INTO ONE. I put it up right up there with WITH A SMILE.

Incidentally _Lightyears_ predated _Drops of Jupiter_ by 5 years (Lightyears came first in 1996). Both songs are arguably their groups' best.
