Struggling with a major change in my life at 68 years of age, this song broke through my fear and anxiety and reminded me what I have in Jesus Christ -- "I will greatly rejoice in the LORD; my soul shall exult in my God, for he has clothed me with the garments of salvation; he has covered me with the robe of righteousness." Inspired recently by a friend's similar experience, I felt compelled to share mine as a message of deep gratitude to you for this beautiful & inspired song 💌
About a year ago I was driving in my car listening to this song when I had an overwhelming revelation & touch from God. At the time I was very distressed by our troubled world 🌎 & wondered how it must break God's heart to see His creation in such disarray. All of a sudden my whole body responded overwhelmingly to some of the lyrics in your song. It seemed to radiate out from deep in my solar plexus & burst like a fountain of emotion throughout my entire brain. This surging wave of emotion circulated again & again throughout my whole body. Tears flowed. Trees were flashing passed me as I drove along the familiar coastal road but somehow time stood still.
It was these words that triggered this response...

I never knew you fine folk wrote this beautiful song that encapsulates the entire gospel. This version/video has touched me beyond words. I am struggling with growing old and seeing the world rapidly degrade in front of me. This song has spoken to me although I have been a Christian for 50 plus years. Eight years ago at the memorial for my cousin, his wife had selected the music. Tears flowed down my cheeks throughout the performance. I drove home, downloaded it and found the lyrics. How could anyone looking for the Way, not recognize it in these words. God allowed Christ to be incarnated as a human infant, to begin the journey of redeeming us and insure eternal life to those that believe in that He is our Savior.
