fully agree as someone who has been to englishtown nj (closed) and maple grove PA several times, watching these videos replicate much more of being at the track versus fox sports coverage. I like hearing the top fuel and funny car go down the track instead of the commentary. I wish there was an option to watch the races like this on tv

Thanks for the upload. Some really good racing in these finals. Glad to see Leah and Tony win one. I'm gonna miss my old semi local track in Commerce. I saw some great racing there over the years. Now I'm not sure where I gonna go to get my Nitro Fix. But these videos help, or just make me Jones for it more. 😂
The last time I saw top fuel drag cars was back in the mid to late 90s, unfortunately drag racing in my area died due to the owners of the track :( There is noting like the entire experience of top fuelers running, it simply has to be felt to be believed, even after all those years I remember it vividly!
Norwalk is second to none. And this video is second to none. Thank you very much. One thing I wish the NHRA would do is bring back the quarter mile run. I know they responded to that tragedy back at the time. But I don’t like this thousand foot stuff. Actually, does anyone know… Does any track still run quarter miles? But this amazing video and an amazing venue. Thank you so much.
I was in the red stands budweiser side Saturday and Sunday. Horrible sunburn, smell of rubber, nitro, ringing ears. Love this! trying to make it a tradition to go every year.
I realise with the speeds going today you need computers to catch the speeds and ET's as apposed to m days, but what a great time we had creating the future in many ways, from slick size to load delervites to engines , we learned and passed it forward. Safty features back in my day for running fuel was a water soaked bandanna in an opened faced helmet, t shirt and jeans to overalls.
Congrats to Leah, but I think Justin Ashley will win the championship this year. Mike Green had a hiccup in the final, but that will only make that team fight harder.
Like i've said a thousand times ... Nothing and i mean nothing Sounds as badass as a Hemi Engine on Nitro Methane . Leahs Mopar not only looks great it performs Great too.
Well, we now know who the god of thunder is and who it aint --> Thor. Top Fuel and Funny Car --> Thunder on Earth. Thor and his wimpy hammer didn't qualify.

Appreciate it! Every other class runs the full quarter mile, with the exception of Top Fuel/Funny Car.

My thought is, no one can compete with top fuel. I mean when you add up the horsepower, it just isn’t fair.
