Saw a video a few days ago, great game, I wishlisted it right away. It's a really great concept. And if you want French lesson, I'll buy you a beer and teach you a few things to communicate with French indie devs the next time I'm in Cleveland to see my in-laws :)
I like the gameplay and art, got nothing bad to say about that, the only reason I'm commenting is because that sad piano music in the background is really unfitting for this game xD otherwise good game and thanks for the video!

Kinda crazy, I just picked up Forwards like a week ago and its been a great time. Was completely unaware they had this in the chamber, and it looks incredibly promising
I love this game for being simltaniously a puzzle, roguelike, and also very much feeling like you can become overpowered but also in constant danger - literally found an item you can use to gain infinite gold and spirit and that literally sends your hp beyond 3 digits into numbers using e - but I still haven't beaten the game - super looking forward to it and also the second character in the demo is so interesting. (the overpowered exploit item is the Sigil of Enhancement by the way if you ever were going to cover this game again)
Game play breaks easily 1.get spirit energy is halved at the start as a talent before the run (making it cost 4) 2.get +3 to all cards when you use 3.get two spirit cards in the board viola spend 4 to get 8 spirit til you're at 0. (optional but lets you clear while sitting in place.) 4.get do damage based off your spirits cost to all enemies 5. Get honey upgrade it to the FORBIDDEN Honey to 999, get the relic that you cant have shield but your hp can go past cap 6. Confirm game is 64 bit as your pc freezes for two minutes, and your hp is 4.95781795193759715E330 now.
There are some slight translation issues (PV = HP, Entrepot = Warehouse). Other than that, this demo is wicked hard. I still haven't been able to finish it.
Ugh. I wish they'd kept the pixel art style from ETF. I don't know why so many indie devs decide to copy the exact art style of the approx. 1 billion cheap, scammy mobile games on the Play store, but for some reason making your actual, legit game look indistinguishable from those blatant F2P rip-offs is en vogue these days.
I dont know if I've ever been so angry to the point of yelling why at my phone. Thank god this man tells me what he's thinking before he does it, or I probably be confused for days.

I farmed up some 20+ chests for legendary relics. Had +3 to loot values, heal when you gain spirit, and double damage. Pretty busted.

It’d be nice if the devs added an easier way to tell what’s walkable or not, besides testing the movement buttons.
