The Time of the Oath is such a gem, one of the best Helloween albums, and easily the best with Deris on vocals, an album as solid as the Chinese Wall. I'd love to see those songs played by the current line-up... Sascha and/or Kai may provide some strong choruses.
Love this era of Helloween, i wish they played these songs more often. The songs from 1994 to 2000 are really great, and Weikath wrote some golden undying hits during that time. They shouldn't play all the Keeper-songs, because they just don't fit with Deris' vocal. Maybe they could play some of the songs from the Chameleon-album? These songs almost haven't been played EVER, and they are not as hard to sing as the Keeper-songs, and I think they would make a good addition to the Deris-songs. Here im talking about songs like First Time, I Believe, Giants, Music, Longing & Oriental Journey. And maybe something from Pink Bubbles, for example: Kids Of The Century, The Chance, Mankind, Someone's Crying. Then some more from the albums: Master Of The Rings, Time Of The Oath, Better Than Row, The Dark Ride.

The fact is that they should play more of the deris era live, they always play kiske´s classics, that´s why he is always compared and everyones thinks he sucks. His songs are great and his vocals fit perfectly.

the fact is that till 2005-2006 he still was able to sing with a good quality almost everytime...now you must consider yourslef lucky if he does it, as his voice is getting always closer to a scream, a creepy one, than to a rough-singing style. I love deris but he's close to his end as a singer...now for him is the time of the oath :P
Same here. Saw Andi twice in like 8 months. He got a lot better. Maybe he somehow changed his lifestyle, I don´t know. But he definitely souds better. :) BTW: Ať žije Helloween. :)
What Roland Grapow is missing in Helloween, I even stopped listening when he left the band... I listened again to Helloween, because Kiske and Kai came back, because after better than raw, it was Helloween's last good work . With the new record, my jaw dropped!!!
Setiap penyanyi/vokalis punya cara sendiri utk bernyanyi memang kedengarannya aneh jika andi menyanyikan lagu yang dinyanyikan kiske. Tapi jika andi menyanyikan lagu2 yang diciptakan untukknya itu tidak buruk.. Bagus kok lagipula kebanyakan lagu lagu helloween yang menciptakan weikath bukan.
