Curious would using like a smooth flexible steel sheet the could be slightly bent works as a base then you don’t need to use a knife or screw driver to release project from the base or even put tape on it etc

Make a copper ring and let it grow silver chrystals, then cast it in resin and make it into a ring.. so it's like a resin ring with a ringlike silver crystallized base inside :P or something
