- A 15 minute documentary produced by her Filmmaker son, Alex J. Wright, to coincide with her two venue retrospective exhibition at New Walk Museum and Embrace Arts, Leicester entitled "A Painters Progress".
The film tracks the progress of Jenny's life and career with particular reference to the work completed for "A Painters Progress". It includes her source material and inspiration; her working practice in the studio and features interviews with the artist.

I am so grateful to Alex, who is not gulled into the false belief of so many producers that you cannot allow anyone to speak unless there is a music track playing.
I have always been attracted to trees. The texture of bark draws me in. The configurations of wind blown trees of coastal areas are my favorite. Your work in trees is somewhat mystical. I have just started painting again late in life with no formal training but when I paint I am totally involved. You are an inspiration to me. Thank you so much for this film.

HiJenny, dont suppose you remember me.I often posed for your life drawing classes in Leicester, many years ago. Since then I have gained an BA in fine arts, but still produce nothing as lovely as yours. Its a privilege to have known you.

I love her trees. I'm a late developer and one of my practice pieces was of Aspen tree trunks, I like the white and grey gnarly bark and feathery twigs and branches, and it came out quite well, I'm inspired. Thank you.

I have admired your work for a long time now and I am desperate to get back to painting. I am blocked by not knowing where I am going with art. Two years of being occupied with nursing and now grieving have left me in a stalemate situation.
I only recently got a new puppy and he is a live wire, but your voice has a calming effect on him whilst I watch you work. You are inspiring me to get started again and I thank you for that. Your garden is a living canvas and beautiful.

I heard you say groing up and every weekend.... you would practice the waters surface...it shows the 3 dimensional on the first or second page of your sketch book of the trees or tree...I WILL NEVER FORGET ITS DEPTH....
