For those wondering about the green El Camino, the problem with that specific model is the tucked in wheels. Most hot wheels are designed so that only the wheels make contact with the walls of the track, not the body. When the wheels are tucked in, the side panel of the car ends up rubbing on the walls acting as a large brake. This is especially problematic on turns where the momentum is pushing the car against the outer wall, but I’ve also seen these cars come to a complete stop on wide open track. The majority of cars with tucked in wheels never even make it to the qualifying round. As for the Supra that was awarded a “dirty sweep” in last week’s race, the wheels were rubbing on the body of the car, so it was pretty much driving with the brakes on.
@3Dbotmaker Can you update the store signs to English and maybe international pop culture references? Every week I feel I'm watching this as Takeshi's Castle, and we don't know if you produce this legit or just narrate a Japanese TH-camr channel you copied. It's confusing to watch the scenery after all the nice work you did building the stage. I'm not complaining, and we love the shows, but give us some mom and pop's store names or a club that says the old neon sign 'girls, girls, girls' next to a police station? or a tax prep store with an inflatable ad outside? a car crash law store firm next to a store sign for a funeral home and a car repair shop? Be witty!
I guess something happened during shipping or maybe I packed it too tight. I swear it wasn't rubbing when it left here. I will live and learn and build and pack better.
53 & female, and my wife doesn't get it either! I'm like "babe, there's really good storytelling here! There's drama and action, suspense, comedy, and some surprisingly deep lore."

I"m 70 and I've been watching for quite a few years. I even have a collection of diecast cars, don't race 'em but I show them off in my apartment. Long live Mopar.
Psyko did so good in this race despite not winning. Those passes were A+! He definitely deserves another shot somewhere. In any other group, he would've come out on top. He's a contender!
Man oh man was that AMAZING!!!!!! Starting out with the mustang going over the edge and ending with Susan in the middle of a showdown. Incredible. The racing was so tight with fantastic passes and fast times. Dang that was fun to watch!
Spool Heads, when is John Alexander going to race again? I miss seeing him on the track Also, all the praise I heap upon you for your designs, you know how that script goes already
@@Chris_Hoodthanks Chris. John Alexander and Leon James are in KOTM, so they will race again :) Next up I’m finally starting the build for The Skyway GT tournament and John A is entered in there as well. I’m really happy with the racing this round. Would have loved to have seen the El Camino compete, but with the tucked wheels and the length, just wasn’t to be . The passing this round was awesome.
How can this be so good...been watching this now for 3 years and watch each video as soon as I can...never in a million years did I think I would be fans of Matchbox car racing...I know the episodes are probably a ton of work to put on and edit, but I wish the vids were like 10 minutes longer.....great stuff guys!
I was really rooting for Psyko to pull out some magic to make it more interesting. I had a glimmer of hope during the square off at the end that there was going to be some kind of extra bonus round for him to get a few more points for a tie! Alas. Fair thee well, Psyko, for what could have been a beautiful racing career.
Classic race today, and 2D never fails to crack me up with his witticisms. The interaction between 3D and 2D totally defines the awesome entertaiment value of this channel. Can't wait for the next event.
3D, thanks for reminding me of the concept called *"Tucked Wheels."* I literally had forgotten the specific name for that. Spool Heads, _BIG KUDOS_ for helping develop the new track!! I find this layout far more accommodating than it was previously not just for passing opportunities that help faster cars strut their stuff, but also possibly giving some intrinsic assistance to cars that are not so skillfully built. Early, way early, for me to even suggest that second part, but it is my hope.
I got really busy but finally finished this awesome race. Ya done did a great job with the commentary and the cars helped a WHOLE lot. One cannot ask for a better ending than this on the last race. Keep it going.
It's 1.30am here in Northern Ireland....the racing is just over - the fatalities laid to rest. Great night's ( or morning's ) racing 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 . See y'all next week....on the track.
Willy Maykit must have heard rumblings from Glitch and Psyko, because that left turn looks like he was trying to set himself up to defend the winner no matter what happened. He has only himself to blame for being in last the entire race, but damn was Psyko trying. No wonder he was mad.
I take it back, this new track is soo good. I thought the race won't be as entertaining and I was wrong. Tonight race was really exciting Looking forward to the next race
Rowan’s Purple Ferrari F40 looks beautiful and he race for Uncle Elvis Racing Team they look terrific and great teamwork to win today’s King Of The Mountain. I’m looking forward to the next group who could get into the final round in the future.

OMG, are you kidding me? Here I am going into withdrawals watching 3D races(Johnny Smoke) and I come back in and see this was an hour ago? I was going to bed. NOT any more! I need to watch this. Thanks guys. Let's Go!
One nice thing about the new 4 wide start is that the slower cars don't get a push from a faster car behind. With the old 2 wide start, sometimes a slow car would win only because the faster cars behind couldn't pass
A lot of really nice improvements to the track background also btw. Like the corner where the "Stang" flew off. Ya liked that 2D didn't ya? Look at the rear wheels on that!!! What?

The car in the starting block looks a lot bigger.
Yes, that version of the El Camino is a little over sized compared to most hot wheels & matchbox cars.
@@3Dbotmaker were hogged wheel wells allowed in this tournament? I cant remember.

The fact the "road rage" incident at the end happened on accident is incredible. The chances of physics setting that up.❤
Couldn't possibly predict that outcome!

I want Psyko to advance just because dude kept hammering away and passing everybody.
Man he was my pick as well. That guy better be back
Yeah no doubt! Some great passing by that dude!
Agreed! His second place finish will outshine many other races' first-place finishes.
Exactly! Now I am his biggest fan!
