Mike will be very missed, great guitarist. Al is overall extremely talented, and a very cool individual which I love him for. I just wish he was in better health. Here's to you brother. in good health, a long time fan.
I miss Old Ministry from Uncle Als new wave to their metal back in the 90s, that still doesn't change my mind about them now, I will always love Ministry, they are number 1
i cried when he died and now your bringing tears to my eyes again.I met Mike on the Rigor Mortis reunion tour hung out with him,One of the koolest guys in music I have ever had the pleasure to meet.Dude....you will be missed by all who knew you!!!!
This is a great candid type interview reminiscing about Mike. Sin is also a good accomplished guitarist. I can't tell Al what to do but I would keep the name, Ministry. Rest in peace, Mike (with his Gibson and his boots on). As a footnote, Sanaz, I enjoy your work as a personality/interviewer. I must say I've been a fan and follower since 2006 (the MySpace days). Keep up the good work.
Dude. Love you guys. Al. Been a fan since Mind. 1988. Your consistency and heart for perfection and insistence toward professional awesomeness is hard to find. Plus, old school double drummers and Let's Go more recently you guys just fucking rock!
mine wuz 1988, Al, Paul, Rieflin, Ogre in small dingy niteclub Farmingdale LI called Spize...Mikey fused up with dem following year for Mind Terrible Thing Taste LP & Tour...although he may have laid down sum guitar tracks on LORAH
what a great job Al and gang did in making greatness sound even amazing on the album. I'm sure Mike rests in peace. He was blessed in having surrounded himself with such amazing talented friends as Al and crew. thanks for posting this video and so sorry for the loss.
Losing a brother is the worst. I lost 2 in less than a year. Then sobered up a year later and had to deal with those feelings that I was masking with dope. Nothing like laying in detox having to deal with that on top of everything else. Rip mike
R.I.P. Mike Scaccia...w/o you Ministry would not have been half the band it is...not even Paul Barker could stake that claim & Al Jourgensen is quite endearing with his cronies here honoring the late great Mikey! God bless & live forever, Dude~~ P.S. - Sanaz is drinkin Perrier Water in a can, classic!!
This is so cool. Caught Ministry in Vancouver on Jun 12. Sin and Cesar hung out for at least an hour, taking pics with people and signing stuff. It was a great show. Sad that Mike wasn't there though. Thanks for the awesome posts Sanaz To Mikey \m/
It's so sad till this day to watch how they were connected to the band. Such a spiritual thing, turns to beautiful music. R.I.P Mikey (I Was at 2012 Woodstock festival show, later on Mikey pass away...
thanks for this M/Sz - love all ur shit since back in the day - (still) reading the LoSt Gospels and Al really loved Mike n Mike loved him ...like brothers...AWESOME fucking guitarist and great man for music! ...
Dang im 51 now in 2020. You just put perspective in my life. And this is NOT about me... Got so much more to say but gonna hold it in and maybe pass it to someone who can do it justice some day
yeah, perfect moment for narcissistic shifting of the narrative to self, fucking prick, once an asshole, always an asshole. Let's not be egotistical or anything like that? Fuck you Al you little man
I always thought Paul Barker was Uncle Al's BFF and right hand man. They looked like the best of pals in the Fix documentary and Mike Scaccia was nowhere to be seen.
Al Jourgensen...love him, or hate him...he's REAL. No show with Al; that's who he is all the time. So many work backwards from him, but he's the original.
why not get Tommy Victor to do "Exit Stage Left"? And maybe Sin can exit stage right...right into a pile of horse manure! just kidding, I luv Sin, he's a killer guitarist & seems like a real nice fella!
Yeah wtf Tommy Victor is the worst gtr. Player he can only play rhythm gtr based "thrash" and he can barley play that compared to the old guys even these kids have better chops
love.
ministry.
period. God bless, Uncle Al.
we miss you Mikey.

a long time fan.
Word. I'm smoking 1 for Mikey,amazing music,and a genuine dude.respect. R.I.P. Mikey
One of the BEST,if not THE BEST GUITARIST MINISTRY EVER HAD! HANDS DOWN🤘
I think Mikey was one of the coolest people Ihave ever had the pleasure of calling my friend. I only knew hime for 8 years. but he was awesome.
I love Al, but I miss seeing him with the original members of Ministry.
How many of the original members are still alive?
I hope Paul Barker comes back to Ministry. It may be unlikely but one can wish.
Um, all of them? Al probably wishes they were dead, but nope; they're still alive.
I miss Old Ministry from Uncle Als new wave to their metal back in the 90s, that still doesn't change my mind about them now, I will always love Ministry, they are number 1
I think Mikey had a huge influence in them taking the direction of industrial metal, and even thrash!
i cried when he died and now your bringing tears to my eyes again.I met Mike on the Rigor Mortis reunion tour hung out with him,One of the koolest guys in music I have ever had the pleasure to meet.Dude....you will be missed by all who knew you!!!!
"Celebrating Mikey"is my new Mantra.

My scaccia taught me my first three Black Sabbath songs in his apartment

IJ sure do mis mikey and he was one hell of a guitar player. I missed him at the last Ministry concert I went to in Charlotte.
R.I.P. Mikey, we will never forget him
still have my mother's cell number in my phone and she died four years ago. Its hard to let it all go sometimes.

thanks soooo much 😊
I love Al's looks.. always cutting edge.. the real mccoy
How would Sin know about Al and Mike's fights with the Book Club, anyway? He was in grade school when that all happened.
Granted Sin is close to his 50's! He is not so young
Dang im 51 now in 2020.
You just put perspective in my life. And this is NOT about me...
Got so much more to say but gonna hold it in and maybe pass it to someone who can do it justice some day
That was really nice. #ministry #aljourgenson
Mike was originally from Long Island.
Remember that metal lives in your heart. Then you can start to be a shredder.
Al looks good...
You'll still have him in your dreams
does anyone know from where Al has got this badass sunglasses?
He stole them from Louis Svitek.
I was there with the rigor mortis demo release party
Hail Scaccia
💚💚💚
I remember snorting ants instead of coke at some point with AL we were so blasted out in the 80s, boy I miss the connection with him
keep it real Al. today buddy.
Damn, this 'I don't think I can't stand up' reply almost made me piss myself.
yeah, perfect moment for narcissistic shifting of the narrative to self, fucking prick, once an asshole, always an asshole. Let's not be egotistical or anything like that? Fuck you Al you little man
Honest!.
I always thought Paul Barker was Uncle Al's BFF and right hand man. They looked like the best of pals in the Fix documentary and Mike Scaccia was nowhere to be seen.
Elizabeth Rubino not really true but ok fangirl
@@hogochodo "The Book Club" was Barker and Connolly. Barker stole serious coin from Al when he was seriously fukt on smack.
Hope i get to see ministry before Al shits it down for good. If only they’d tour in the southern f*cking hemisphere
I was in Mike's apartment
Al Jourgensen...love him, or hate him...he's REAL. No show with Al; that's who he is all the time. So many work backwards from him, but he's the original.
Dude. Duuuuuuuude! 5:54
Zabiłem drewnianą batutę i spaliłem końcówkę ,pierwszą na świecie .

Darlene-Ashley Cheleze LOL why u mad tho?
Ever since Sin got in the band i lost insterest anyways. Hes the worst guitar player in Ministrys history. RIP Mikey.
why not get Tommy Victor to do "Exit Stage Left"? And maybe Sin can exit stage right...right into a pile of horse manure! just kidding, I luv Sin, he's a killer guitarist & seems like a real nice fella!
I accept Tommy more that Sin. The band changed it's weird.
