Well, I'm thrilled M has a girlfriend, and possibly future mate!! He hasn't been lonely, and F1 has kept him company in his acceptance. We all have been gutted by our beloved Harriet's passing, but must move forward as M will. I totally agree! I often think M has come to his greatness partly because of Harriet. He carries her love and devotion with him. @@lwilliamsmasters1990. YW🙂. We are still five weeks out from the start of Florida Bald Eagle breeding season, which is October 1st - May 15th. Nest building is part of bonding for them. They may bring some sticks/material now, as we saw M do, but the majority of the nest work will more likely be in October/November. They will do nest work together, as we saw, in this video, and could surprise us and start building right away. They can always change their minds and build their nest elsewhere in the territory, or build an alternate nest just to have. Since we do not know any history for this female, or any female M15 may partner with, we will have to watch and learn about her. 🦅🦅
M15 giving F1 every chance to impress him. Time will tell soon enough if F1 is the one. I know she has stolen our hearts with her dedication to protecting territory. 😊❤.
Wonderful camera work! And wonderful sight, have tears. Our very rested looking M, handsome as ever, and his very beautiful lady. M looks 5yrs younger, must have been a great vacation at the Molty Motel and Fishing Resort! But I'm so glad she stayed and that M has had a companion all summer. For all we know, she's a widow, too. And they rescued each other. Looking forward to a calmer season! I just have to think of 21 & 22. And Harriet. It's hard, but the new season will wipe it away. Stupid car washes aside. 😡 Will be finished by egg time, at least. Ty again! Lovely story!

Wonderful news & views Androcat. Thank-you! They look like they're having the time of lives fixing up the nest, chortling, chatting and flying around. M's grabbing sticks and 'The Betty' is helping with the placement & arranging. Side by side shots really display the size difference between them. Her head alone is massive with the "flat-top haircut" & longer beak as well. They've had a decent amount of time over the last few months to get accustomed to each other and it appears that they have a healthy bond and understanding of one another by now. I think she passed the audition and got the role. While the kids were there, she mainly remained in the shadows, only coming out when M called upon her presence helping him through a heartbreakingly tumultuous time in his life. So, he got to see her virtues and faults in a trial by fire. Evidently he's satisfied. Again, thank-you so much Androcat for grabbing some lovely footage of them so we can all enjoy the happiness of new beginnings at Pritchett Farm.🦅🙏💞🦅
What a great video, so much happening. As always I enjoyed your comments, totally spot on. They both look fantastic, and it is wonderful to see M able to let go of the past and really enjoy her company. Her vocals are so distinctive, mystified as to how anyone could possibly think that this is a different eagle. She obviously wants to learn how to be a master carpenter like M, she likes to learn and help, just like she did with the Es. Can't wait for cameras to go live again, the fun will begin !!!

@@wallygator325 Yes...and you really got me thinking about some folks who may believe there's a possibility that this is a different eagle. And, that's OK. There are ALWAYS possibilities for most everything. You explained perfectly in another site how you've kept close track of her and kept notes. I've tried as well. Thanks to @Androcat I used some of her earlier videos & close-ups to compare and contrast with the present. @Androcat was the 1st to post the famous tower scene a couple months ago. (5/30/23) She also posted wonderful views of the lady in the heavily shaded office oak. (7/25/23) [[[Keep in mind she was molting back then, too. Looked a little raggedy. Not bad, but a little. So by now she (and M) look refreshed and brand new like they had a skin peel, facelift & tummy-tuck, LOL]]] I noticed... #1 - When her head & eye area are darkened by heavy shade is when the heavy eyeliner is in full effect. Also when a camera is pointing upward it's more visible, rather than level straight at her eyes in blinding bright sunlight. #2 - Her vocal style/tone/cadence now is same as it was on the tower. #3 - Underside of tail feathers have same youthful slightly gray tinged areas as I see now on this one as she preens. #4 - Head feathers have same youthful not-quite-bright-white coloring. So, unless M decided she's no longer useful to him after all this time & kicked her to the curb in the last couple weeks... I guess this one is her twin sister 🤣..........etc. etc. etc.

The chance of another female of the same size as her, with the same dark flecks in her head feathers, the same massive wings, and the same vocal range, suddenly arriving at the nest, being completely comfortable in her surroundings, knowing the area, having beautifully made up eyes, and having a liking for flying to the upper branches in the nest tree, well I would happily say without fear of contradiction that there is no chance at all, ever!!! The next few weeks will be interesting as they continue working on the nest and enjoy spending time together as they always have. The Es became the amazing juvies that they did because at times M had to employ Lady's many talents to help teach and toughen them up. She didn't mind playing the bad cop. And I think M was secretly impressed with her ability to steal food. Hope youre enjoying seeing their relationship moving on.
Holy Moly this makes my morning to see M15 and the potential for bonding/mating of these two. S0 heartbroken over the loss of Harriet and many others in the eagle families last season ( Samson, Rita, Harriet and more) but THIS makes my heart soar. M15 an extraordinary Dad!! I still have before my eyes the images from M15 with its Eaglets E21 and E22, their cackles, the flights, the games and their baths in the pond!! Now everything is silent, the pasture is no longer the same, its so sad and empty without them!! I hope it comes back the life soon. @vanda6121. M15 sure is an extraordinary Dad! While the pasture sure does seem quiet after eagle season (the E's are quite loud lol), it is always full of life. The farm hosts a lot of wildlife. The small birds are everywhere, squirrels are busy by the church side trees, and cattle egrets follow the horses around. Egrets and herons visit the pasture pond, without having to worry about the eagles trying to steal their catch 😉. Harriet ❣️ will forever remain in our hearts. I still miss her every day. 💕🦅🦅💕
@ryanh4700 . YW 🙂. It can be. In this video, flying after one another and hunting together is part of their courtship/bonding. Eagles will also soar together, and may do aerials, as part of courtship. Before we left for the morning, we saw two adult eagles soaring S of the territory. It may have been M and the female, but they were too far for us to know for sure. WOW! There is not one second of this video that I didn't love. This was quite emotional for me seeing M15. It was beautiful watching those two. I got nervous watching as it appeared they flew close and above the traffic close to the construction site but thank you for providing us with the map of the retention pond. @cheryln581. YW 🙂. Vehicular traffic and power lines are two of the biggest dangers for our urban birds. I knew that would worry folks, and the only way I could record was across the traffic. That is why I noted it. Their flights did take them over the E end of the construction site, which was not an issue. They are building forms for the footing over there currently. I saw workers watching the eagles lol. 💕🦅🦅💕

I can appreciate the time and effort to put such a video together - I add my sincere thanks to those of the other viewers :) The signs all all there but, as you wisely pointed out, it's still early in the season. As I said once before, if they are roses they shall bloom. Is this the same female that some have started calling Cleopatra? If this name turns out to be a good candidate, perhaps shortening it to Cleo would make things easier - we shall see :) I am sure I am touching a sore point here, but I think beloved Harriet had reached the end of her natural life, and we would have probably lost her anyway, sooner or later. We must embrace a new chapter and can only hope for the best!

I know she didn't have many fans when she was busy tailing M15 for a steal, but she never harmed the E's & has stayed steadfast! The females that came to the nest tree to steal were all just doing what eagles do. It was difficult to watch, without a doubt, so emotions just get the best of people sometimes. We are mere humans, after all 😬. I loved every female that came, because they did not injure or kill our precious E's. It stressed me to watch it though 😔. I am hoping this female is "the one". DebiDew. YW 🙂. It was a great morning to visit! As for the construction, I agree; it I am sure the eagles would say different. M15 used that field for collecting grass for the nest 😕. That is all I have seen the eagles do in that field where the car wash is being built. Changes to the environment always causes stress to wildlife. For the eagles, it is about what they can tolerate. Each eagle has different tolerance levels. Most often, our urban eagles tolerate construction that is within USFWS guidelines. That is not a guarantee, which is why there will be professional monitoring during construction. I pray the different phases of construction do not disturb them. 🙏🏻🦅🦅💜

Nest building is part of bonding, and pairs here often bring a few materials in, aerate, and arrange sticks already in the nest at this time of year. @@androcat12 I have a screen cap from cam 1 on march 14. M is perched on attic with this lady and she stayed the night. Even then, they looked comfortable. She looks exactly the same then as now, the evening light shows off her eye make up. A very patient lady, but now she is taking an active role in nestorations and security for the territory.
@@erinbraun301 Sorry to disagree. This is Maybelline. No doubt about it. Elier Saunders the photographer has confirmed it in his latest post, and he has filmed her many times over the past months. More recently he filmed her at yonder pond. These eagles can look very different sometimes, especially in bright sunlight, or when they pose in certain positions. Sometimes you can,t see M15's white wing tips if the light is shining directly on them. Hope this clears things up for you.

Lol M15 enjoyed collecting sticks with Harriet she would get up set when M would put them in the wrong place 😊 I won't give up hope on the female 😊 I'm sure she has to be special for M15 he is such a great provider and a wonderful dad to his kids one thing that I enjoy is watching him sitting on the eggs 🪺 I hope she will get a name as time goes on thank you for the video I was excited to see both of them only time will tell 🦅🦅

She does have a few darker feathers in her head feathers. Depending on the lighting, you don’t always see it. She has been occupying the territory all summer. Stunning videography !! This makes me happy to see M15 and F1 so comfortably side by side. She should be given a name that has eloquence should she become M15’s permanent mate. From the looks of things and from his actions in the past, l am convinced she is the one !! As for the new construction of the car wash; l doubt this is going to interfere with the Eagles as they seem to be fine with all the activity going on now and once construction is over, the activity (noise in particular), will be gone. Viewers watch different channels/pages/posts, as well as past cam coverage. I am here, and I followed this particular female all summer. Other locals may capture something different during their visits, so I cannot answer for what they see, only they can. It is hot and muggy here, so kudos to all those who come out to capture what they can, and share it. We all love the eagles. 🦅🦅
@pjb12025. All models currently have the storm making landfall N of the SWFEC area, and N of Tampa, sometime Wednesday morning. This area will have tropical storm weather. That is much better than a direct landfall here in an already battered area. 🙏🏻

I totally agree! I often think M has come to his greatness partly because of Harriet. He carries her love and devotion with him. @@lwilliamsmasters1990. YW🙂. We are still five weeks out from the start of Florida Bald Eagle breeding season, which is October 1st - May 15th. Nest building is part of bonding for them. They may bring some sticks/material now, as we saw M do, but the majority of the nest work will more likely be in October/November. They will do nest work together, as we saw, in this video, and could surprise us and start building right away. They can always change their minds and build their nest elsewhere in the territory, or build an alternate nest just to have. Since we do not know any history for this female, or any female M15 may partner with, we will have to watch and learn about her. 🦅🦅

M looks 5yrs younger, must have been a great vacation at the Molty Motel and Fishing Resort! But I'm so glad she stayed and that M has had a companion all summer. For all we know, she's a widow, too. And they rescued each other. Looking forward to a calmer season! I just have to think of 21 & 22. And Harriet. It's hard, but the new season will wipe it away. Stupid car washes aside. 😡 Will be finished by egg time, at least. Ty again! Lovely story!

Wonderful news & views Androcat. Thank-you! They look like they're having the time of lives fixing up the nest, chortling, chatting and flying around. M's grabbing sticks and 'The Betty' is helping with the placement & arranging. Side by side shots really display the size difference between them. Her head alone is massive with the "flat-top haircut" & longer beak as well. They've had a decent amount of time over the last few months to get accustomed to each other and it appears that they have a healthy bond and understanding of one another by now. I think she passed the audition and got the role. While the kids were there, she mainly remained in the shadows, only coming out when M called upon her presence helping him through a heartbreakingly tumultuous time in his life. So, he got to see her virtues and faults in a trial by fire. Evidently he's satisfied. Again, thank-you so much Androcat for grabbing some lovely footage of them so we can all enjoy the happiness of new beginnings at Pritchett Farm.🦅🙏💞🦅
What a great video, so much happening. As always I enjoyed your comments, totally spot on. They both look fantastic, and it is wonderful to see M able to let go of the past and really enjoy her company. Her vocals are so distinctive, mystified as to how anyone could possibly think that this is a different eagle. She obviously wants to learn how to be a master carpenter like M, she likes to learn and help, just like she did with the Es. Can't wait for cameras to go live again, the fun will begin !!!

@@wallygator325 Yes...and you really got me thinking about some folks who may believe there's a possibility that this is a different eagle. And, that's OK. There are ALWAYS possibilities for most everything. You explained perfectly in another site how you've kept close track of her and kept notes. I've tried as well. Thanks to @Androcat I used some of her earlier videos & close-ups to compare and contrast with the present. @Androcat was the 1st to post the famous tower scene a couple months ago. (5/30/23)
She also posted wonderful views of the lady in the heavily shaded office oak. (7/25/23)
[[[Keep in mind she was molting back then, too. Looked a little raggedy. Not bad, but a little. So by now she (and M) look refreshed and brand new like they had a skin peel, facelift & tummy-tuck, LOL]]]
I noticed... #1 - When her head & eye area are darkened by heavy shade is when the heavy eyeliner is in full effect. Also when a camera is pointing upward it's more visible, rather than level straight at her eyes in blinding bright sunlight. #2 - Her vocal style/tone/cadence now is same as it was on the tower. #3 - Underside of tail feathers have same youthful slightly gray tinged areas as I see now on this one as she preens. #4 - Head feathers have same youthful not-quite-bright-white coloring. So, unless M decided she's no longer useful to him after all this time & kicked her to the curb in the last couple weeks... I guess this one is her twin sister 🤣..........etc. etc. etc.

The chance of another female of the same size as her, with the same dark flecks in her head feathers, the same massive wings, and the same vocal range, suddenly arriving at the nest, being completely comfortable in her surroundings, knowing the area, having beautifully made up eyes, and having a liking for flying to the upper branches in the nest tree, well I would happily say without fear of contradiction that there is no chance at all, ever!!! The next few weeks will be interesting as they continue working on the nest and enjoy spending time together as they always have. The Es became the amazing juvies that they did because at times M had to employ Lady's many talents to help teach and toughen them up. She didn't mind playing the bad cop. And I think M was secretly impressed with her ability to steal food. Hope youre enjoying seeing their relationship moving on.
Holy Moly this makes my morning to see M15 and the potential for bonding/mating of these two. S0 heartbroken over the loss of Harriet and many others in the eagle families last season ( Samson, Rita, Harriet and more) but THIS makes my heart soar. M15 an extraordinary Dad!! I still have before my eyes the images from M15 with its Eaglets E21 and E22, their cackles, the flights, the games and their baths in the pond!! Now everything is silent, the pasture is no longer the same, its so sad and empty without them!! I hope it comes back the life soon. @vanda6121. M15 sure is an extraordinary Dad! While the pasture sure does seem quiet after eagle season (the E's are quite loud lol), it is always full of life. The farm hosts a lot of wildlife. The small birds are everywhere, squirrels are busy by the church side trees, and cattle egrets follow the horses around. Egrets and herons visit the pasture pond, without having to worry about the eagles trying to steal their catch 😉. Harriet ❣️ will forever remain in our hearts. I still miss her every day. 💕🦅🦅💕

@ryanh4700 . YW 🙂. It can be. In this video, flying after one another and hunting together is part of their courtship/bonding. Eagles will also soar together, and may do aerials, as part of courtship. Before we left for the morning, we saw two adult eagles soaring S of the territory. It may have been M and the female, but they were too far for us to know for sure. Susan this is my 5th time watching our am& mYb his lady. I miss him Harriet of course Their babies 21 & 22 who was my pet. I miss all of our friends talking about their beautiful babies with so many years & memories. This was quite emotional for me seeing M15. It was beautiful watching those two. I got nervous watching as it appeared they flew close and above the traffic close to the construction site but thank you for providing us with the map of the retention pond. That would have been my next question. 🤣

@cheryln581. YW 🙂. Vehicular traffic and power lines are two of the biggest dangers for our urban birds. I knew that would worry folks, and the only way I could record was across the traffic. That is why I noted it. Their flights did take them over the E end of the construction site, which was not an issue. They are building forms for the footing over there currently. I saw workers watching the eagles lol. 💕🦅🦅💕

Oh wow Androcat, what an unexpected joy to see this afternoon!! I had a feeling this is what we'd be seeing come Sept or Oct, but sooner is better for more bonding time I'd say! F1 sure is a beauty! I know she didn't have many fans when she was busy tailing M15 for a steal, but she never harmed the E's & has stayed steadfast! The females that came to the nest tree to steal were all just doing what eagles do. It was difficult to watch, without a doubt, so emotions just get the best of people sometimes. We are mere humans, after all 😬. I loved every female that came, because they did not injure or kill our precious E's. It stressed me to watch it though 😔. I am hoping this female is "the one". Thank you for praying about this system. I still haven't recovered from Ian 😕. 💕🦅🦅💕

DebiDew. YW 🙂. It was a great morning to visit! As for the construction, I agree; it I am sure the eagles would say different. M15 used that field for collecting grass for the nest 😕. That is all I have seen the eagles do in that field where the car wash is being built. Changes to the environment always causes stress to wildlife. For the eagles, it is about what they can tolerate. Each eagle has different tolerance levels. Most often, our urban eagles tolerate construction that is within USFWS guidelines. That is not a guarantee, which is why there will be professional monitoring during construction. I pray the different phases of construction do not disturb them. 🙏🏻🦅🦅💜

Nest building is part of bonding, and pairs here often bring a few materials in, aerate, and arrange sticks already in the nest at this time of year. Serious nest building will come around the start of season. I have seen some pairs do major work in September also. We will see what these two do! 🙏🏻🦅🦅💜

@@androcat12 I have a screen cap from cam 1 on march 14. M is perched on attic with this lady and she stayed the night. Even then, they looked comfortable. She looks exactly the same then as now, the evening light shows off her eye make up. A very patient lady, but now she is taking an active role in nestorations and security for the territory.

@@erinbraun301 Sorry to disagree. This is Maybelline. No doubt about it. Elier Saunders the photographer has confirmed it in his latest post, and he has filmed her many times over the past months. More recently he filmed her at yonder pond. These eagles can look very different sometimes, especially in bright sunlight, or when they pose in certain positions. Sometimes you can,t see M15's white wing tips if the light is shining directly on them. Hope this clears things up for you.

Lol M15 enjoyed collecting sticks with Harriet she would get up set when M would put them in the wrong place 😊 I won't give up hope on the female 😊 I'm sure she has to be special for M15 he is such a great provider and a wonderful dad to his kids one thing that I enjoy is watching him sitting on the eggs 🪺 I hope she will get a name as time goes on thank you for the video I was excited to see both of them only time will tell 🦅🦅

She does have a few darker feathers in her head feathers. Depending on the lighting, you don’t always see it. She has been occupying the territory all summer. From the looks of things and from his actions in the past, l am convinced she is the one !! As for the new construction of the car wash; l doubt this is going to interfere with the Eagles as they seem to be fine with all the activity going on now and once construction is over, the activity (noise in particular), will be gone. Other locals may capture something different during their visits, so I cannot answer for what they see, only they can. @pjb12025. All models currently have the storm making landfall N of the SWFEC area, and N of Tampa, sometime Wednesday morning. This area will have tropical storm weather. That is much better than a direct landfall here in an already battered area. 🙏🏻
