Kodek absolutely smashing it as usual! The verb looks great and I love the look of the resonant EQ, nice to see it nearly ready after all these years too.
"sound demo" from kodek (sp?).. you mean a frickin' free show :D and then the people start to enter the room, wtffffff OH SHIT HELL YEAH :D how he uses the eq for the drums is sic, cheers!
Girts always seem such a positive friendly guy. That reverb deserved so much more than random plonking over the most spasmodic white man’s beats known to mankind 😂
I had the possibility to chat with him during Dutch Modular fest back in 2022, without being aware of who he was. Very down to earth and gentle person, really liked him.
Really great that Erica Synths has adapted the ResEQ with digital functionality, I was hoping for this to come although I still think that filterbanks, EQs and the like are underrepresented in a true stereo-domain. For the speculated price-range, I think this is exceptionally good as some sort of "no-brainer". - About the reverb, I understand that it is not suited for an Eurorack-Unit, but still would like to see a capable (and I must stretch "dedicated"!) reverb like that in Eurorack to give the small amount of current Euro-Reverbs with decent control-options that is, a bit more of a competition.
Wow it's been awhile since I was actually excited about something, and this is honestly the first eurorack module I've ever thought was cool. I mean I'm just a DJ nerd who started plugging drum machines and guitar pedals and rack synths into a Pioneer V10 and a Model 1.4, and I don't want any more channels of sends, I want to be able to use something to kinda glue things together on a channel without adding another compressor/tremolo/whatever, so like the Zen Delay on one channel and the Benidub Echo on another works really well. All the nerds who are just producing at a desk really can't appreciate how different it is to use filters performing vs. just staring at a spectrum and adjusting parameters on a timeline. The Benidub has a freeze that you can use for buildups, but it's a pretty aggressive effect and the filters aren't exactly surgical and it's mono. I think the Nightverb would fit in with my whole philosophy pretty well. I can really only concentrate on a few channels. I need to keep things relatively simple. But recently I've realized how many awesome things I can do just with MIDI program changes without complicating things. So I mean this stuff is exactly what I'm looking for, but I'm a very limited demographic LOL.
ResonantEQ is very interesting, it's just a pity that the module is not in stereo. The ending with the so-called musical performance is so embarrassing: people who have too much money for music gear and can't manage anything better than bleeps and bloops. That's not music, it's just ear annoyance.
I have been wondering about the Resonant EQ all these years! :) Pepperridge farm remembers,

Great sounding reverb. Excited to try it at their booth tomorrow. 🤩

Ah I always like those classic Erica Synths overly bright LEDs! Make them even brighter, come on! Test my eyes!
Absolutely goated demo at the end holy shit
10:34 they learned this from the steampipe I guess 🥲
Still dreaming of Steampipe from last year. Maybe next year!
Love the joyfully dystopian sound.

300 for the eq sounds like a great deal!

Only watched this video to get a few minutes fix of Girts. He always makes me smile. 🙂
nice one!

that res eq looks promising, wish they could have demoed it in a more technical way first tho.
