Hey guys! I threw something in here because I thought it was funny. Let me know if you spot it. 😂 Also, there is a little entertainment first and then rooster talk around the 5 min mark. 😃Lolly
Hey there!!! Yes! I’m good. Just a little delay! Thanks for thinking about me and spending some time with me❤️ I do love the girls!!!! 😁 Have a great day! Lolly ❤️
I’ll miss those big beautiful Roo’s but I completely understand! I think it was good for you to rehome them! And I DO know how hard that is. When we had to rehome all of our rescue parrots, that was very difficult, but Tim was SO sick and I couldn’t take care of them alone…lots of guilt there, but you have to do what you need to do! Congratulations! I’m falling in love with the lil’ bantams! I love the snack stop at the kitchen window idea for more of the gals! Too cute!! I really enjoyed this video! (As always) ❤❤❤
I will miss them greatly Debi and it was so hard but glad it's done. Moving on to the new norm and the up and coming stars hahaha!🥳 I did get 6 new large hens from the ones I hatched. Just way too many roos!🥴 Also the little bantams will be such a delight.🥰 I hate that you had to rehome the parrots. It's hard being an adult and doing the right thing some times. Thanks for watching and def some new window action in the future.....we shall see how long this takes haha. Lolly❤️
Hey there! This comment was hidden from me! So sorry. I got it at Omlet. If you go to the description box and click one of my omet links you will find it on that site! The chickens love it!❤️ Lolly
I ordered HENS from a hatchery and ended up with one rooster. So even buying "sexed" chicks is a risk. The main problem so far is the crowing because I doubt my neighbors appreciate it. It is thankfully only during the day. We have an acre and my neighbors have large yards--so we are not on top of each other, but they are not deaf!. The flock is right at 4 months old and no "visiting" yet so I don't know how he will treat the girls when that starts. I have hoped since his first baby crow that he would stay sweet, but hormones are powerful things. He still cuddles with me when I sit in the yard and comes running when I call him. Today he snuggled in and let me pet his wattles and comb until he realized the girls were across the yard. It is hard because I am attached and I know that I will probably not be able to keep him. I have decided to love him and enjoy him while I have him--if/when the day comes, I will let him go and be grateful for having known him. Hopefully, I will find him a nice country home with lots of girls and neighbors who don't mind crowing.
You are so correct! I know people myself who ordered hens and got multiple roos. How can this be??? Ugh. It's serious when you live somewhere that you are not allowed to have roos for whatever reasons. Oh my goodness is all I can say about the hormones. They are coming out like crazy among my hens right now. I'm like how can you be so cute and so crazy at the same time. I get attached too and it's hard to let them go. I laughed at your comment about how your neighbors aren't deaf hahahaha! I am doing just as you are and loving them until maybe finding them a home. Thanks for watching and spending a few minutes with me. I apologize for the delay in responding. I had a couple comments stuck in a different area and I missed them. Have a beautful day and thanks for sharing your situation!❤️ Lolly
