It’s interesting how the VFA uplifted the closed season for Murray Cod on Lake Eildon in 2017 and here we are in 2024 actually starting to do anything the can even be considered a very small little science project. The question to be asked is why wasn’t this done back in 2017 and why did one of the arm systems have a Murray Cod closed season reinstated if back in 2017 it was apparently concluded that 98% of Murray Cod don’t breed, something doesn’t add up with the careless and poorly executed so called science especially when it’s a huge contradiction by shutting one of the arm systems back down again. Can you explain any of this?
