Global Talk: What is it about the Whitakers?

The Whitaker dynasty has been associated with show jumping success for many years and is a name synonymous with British equestrianism. At our recent LGCT of London event we had not one, but five of the Whitaker family competing during the three day event... We took five to get to know this incredible and immensely cool family a little better...

John Whitaker was always the best, followed by Michael - his brother. Michael was great in a jump off, but John was sublime with the most wonderful hands and he was so gentle as a rider. As for the other Whitaker generations, they obtained success due to the success of both John and Michael.
