It was the best show I've been to as well. Which is why I'm taking my time to do the concert edit justice. I only have a couple angles and an extra angle from a guy who sent me some of his footage so instead of rapid fire cuts I want to camera to linger for full verses or several verses. I'm forced to cut here and there due to losing focus on the stage but I think so far its been edited to where you can't spot those cuts too often. Sorry that it's taking so long to get it all done but I'd rather get it done right than done quick. Couple more months and I should have it finished.

Plus I was 13 rows up on the side and couldn’t make out what the band was doing on stage at all. But I loved the show so much. With your video I can finally see the band. Thanks. I hate how long it's taking me on this current section but I think it will move along much faster once I'm done with this song. I'm definitely committed to seeing this through since it was the best concert I've ever attended.
I love Rammstein for their sound and their atmospheric music with the lyrical lyrics, but the reason why we feel so incredibly good at a concert like this is that in the moments of fire and the light show, coupled with the ultimate sound, every thought bubble in your head goes out and your head doesn't think in that moment. This state of emptiness, of complete concentration on this breathtaking show, makes you feel true happiness. I love Rammstein, but the happiness comes from you and Rammstein gives you the opportunity to completely let go of your thoughts for a moment. A pain-free state, so to speak, in which you are completely enchanted just for that moment.
Thanks for all the views so far guys. I know reposting the same concert video every few weeks after I get more of it edited isn't ideal but I knew it would take a while to get it all done and love getting what new bits I have done out there. So even though the views keep getting reset to zero when I replace the full concert video I would like to think the viewers who've stuck with this project appreciate the updates. Sorry it's taking a while for the next batch. Deutschland is my favorite track and it's the one I'm working on now so I'm putting in extra time to make it as polished as possible. The next few songs after that should go much quicker.
@Marita Korneliusson I'm not sure if you noticed but I did finally get the Deutschland edit up as an individual track. It came out pretty good. One of my favorite edits so far.
Thanks! This is really good! I’m impressed. I used to make Rammstein multicams in middle school (2009). I would spend about a month on one show and use over 20 camera shots. Sadly my YT account got deleted so did all my work. Also I eventually got a GF and a job so I couldn’t spend 4 hours a day splicing clips together. I still love editing to this day and Rammstein. Technology has only improved in the last decade. I could probably direct a film with the amount of resources available today. It’s just something I’m very passionate about. If only I had more time
Same. The most time consuming part for me has been stabilizing the video in post. I want the shots to be as steady as possible so I can get clean pans and transitions. If i had more angles I could probably just transition more often when the cams get too shaky. I wanted to try to do it all just from my footage just as a challenge. It sure has been. I did finally use another attendees footage when he asked if I would use some of his shots from the same concert. It does help to have a 2nd angle to move between when my view is obstructed or when I had to change batteries in cams. For the most part I've had the right amount of stable footage to do all my transitions between lyrics. It really helps maintain the flow.
The best concert I've ever been too. I'm so happy I found this! I appreciate you taking the time to record all of these angles. I was to the left of the Engel stage and couldn't see much of the stage at all. I had no clue they would come out for Engel so I don't regret choosing that spot lol. At 1:37:34 Paul claps and says "Good job! You guys did great!" in English. It was so heartwarming!
Thanks. I've got the two parts of Deustchland done since this last full concert edit and am working on Radio now. I work full time and have a couple toddlers so it's hard to carve out the time to edit but I do intend to finish editing the rest of the concert and re-upload the whole thing in it's completed form when I'm done.
Great video. About a month ago I thought about maybe adding captions to my Rammstein videos and I may still do it. I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought of it lol.
It's quite the pain in the ass since the timing is different for each concert. But if you happen to have vids for the Chicago concert I think all you would need to do is use a program to add subs via srt file that also allows you to offset the timing in order to use the sub file I made.
Getting back to work on the full concert edit. Hard to squeeze time in since I'm back to my day job as well. But until I get the full concert edit done I'm sacrificing game time. 🎮
I was there on the floor by the middle rail center fist time seeing them live and it was awesome and amazing great job on putting this together from the show
Finally finished the motion tracking for Deutschland to clear up the camera shake so I can edit that footage into the full concert edit. I'll hopefully have the individual song up sometime this week.
It took a while but the new video is up for Deutschland. I spent way more time than I should have trying to clean up the camera shake from the closeup cam, but 90% of the closeups came out really clean as a result. Pretty happy how it came together. Not happy about how time consuming it was to get there. Hope you all enjoy. I promise to make quicker progress on Radio, the next song up for edits. th-cam.com/video/rmdBd8bfEZs/w-d-xo.html
Thanks everyone for the views. I promise I'm working on editing the last half of the concert. Lost a bit of free time since I need to watch the kiddos in the morning meaning all night editing sessions got pinched pretty bad. But whatever free time I have I'll be at the computer cleaning up source footage and editing in the additional camera angles I have when possible.
It's a pretty kick ass show. Ours was kneecapped a bit during Du Hast because the fire marshal for Chicago would let them shoot rockets over the audience. So Till shot the rocket launcher backwards out of the stadium. But other than that the show was everything I was hoping for.
@@count-ivannightly8933 Sounds good! My elderly mother is a huge fan of Rammstein, so we sometimes sit and watch live performances together on TH-cam. So thanks!
Took a detour and am editing a few videos from the Steel Panther concert I shot recently as a bit of a break from the more intensive edits for this concert. This is the opening act. They go by the name Tragedy and are an all metal, mostly Bee Gees cover band, and beyond. th-cam.com/video/6_a2zbBK9bI/w-d-xo.html
Well I did have an edit up last year that hit about the same number of views as this but I took it down once I had an additional 5 songs edited into this version. And this one will probably come down once I get the next quarter done. It seemed redundant to leave the old versions up.
These next few songs have some challenging aspects to them that's taking longer than expected so this edit will probably be the main version for a while yet.
I made a lot of progress on my side project and got the full set for one of Steel Panther's openers, Tragedy, fully edited. They're no Rammstein but they were a lot of fun. Check them out sometime. I have the songs edited individually and as the full concert for their act. I'll add in captions sometime for yall internation speakers. This is the link for the Full Concert edit. Enjoy. th-cam.com/video/AgucHLwUED4/w-d-xo.html
Count Ivan your videos are the best. And the sound is the best. Are you going to do this work on The Rammstein Tour this year 2024 ? I HOPE YOU DO🙏😉👍🏻🤘🏼
Did I get some wrong? Or just they lyrics in general? Zick Zack and Pussy were pretty funny ass songs. Their music video for Zick Zack looks like it could have been directed by Cronenberg.
The music text of ZigZag is soooo true and really fun . What It means ??? Be natural in your body. You do not have to fill it up with botox and such other shit. Love your text writing in your music Rammstein❤❤❤💪🏻🤘🏼
It was actual work timing the captions but I wanted to go all out on this project. Getting back to the video edits. I'm on Deutschland right now. It's been a collassal pain in the ass to edit, but it's my favorite song so I want it to look good. And the kids are 2 and 3...both chant Deutschland along with the song. So this song is getting extra attention. I don't think I'll post an updated full concert vid until I get the rest of the songs edited.
Best show iv been too in a long time! Even tho IL wouldn't allow em to shoot any fireworks over our heads for Du Hast: It felt weird without the rockets!
It wasn't the state it was the city that didn't allow them. I'm sure if they were out in the sticks like Rochelle (random town in IL south of Rockford) they'd be allowed to do anything.
Comparing this show to their European shows is like night & day. I can see why they rarely travel outside the European continent. I wish they'd play more shows in the U.S., but understand why they don''t.
I calibrated it during the first song which is why you can hear slight changes as I transition from the camera mic to the Zoom mic. I aimed for the volume range bouncing between -6 to 0 on the display. I'm not sure which number setting the dial was set to. The more important thing to nail down is the recording decibel range since each event will have different intensities in volume. My mic was attached to the top of my camera with a cold shoe. But at other events that were hard asses about that sort of thing I simply kept it wedged between my legs with the mic pointing forward to avoid that muffled sound from being inside a pocket. It's a small enough mic that it wouldn't be noticed between your legs or sitting upright out of a breast pockets.
@Rammstein Live Concerts I tried pocketing my phone to cut down on the decibel levels when that's all I had to record with and it would have been better off to leave the mic exposed. It sounded all muffled. I think for the most part you're better off with the mic in the open if you can.
Tried to get a German to English app..can't get it off..my father is Robert Hans Krause Jr..LOVE the German language, strong, not like French nose speak..😎🇺🇸
In Chicago the fire marshal for the city would sign off for the rockets to be shot over the audience. Til shoots them backwards out if the stadium and the return rockets don't fire back towards the stage. Another person he attended that same venue gave me footage showing a better angle so you can see. I'll edit it in when I get to that song for the main edit.
It's not the best mic in the world but substantially better than the on board camera or the cell phone mic. I had 3 audio feeds to choose from and the dedicated Zoom H1N mic was still the best sounding by far. There was a section at the begining where I had to use the cell phone audio since I was still calibrating the decibel range input for the H1N up until just before Till begins singing during Armee der Tristen. I thought I hid the transition fairly well but a trained ear can definitely hear the difference and the transition.
I used the same mic for the 2 Bonmassa concert clips I have uploaded as well. See if maybe it sounds better in a small venue to you versus the large venue at the Rammstein concert.
Why, why, WHY all the people that put English translations do it from, I believe, Google translate, and do not check if it matches the meaning of the lyrics? Pressen might, in corporate world, mean "blackmail", but how can you "blackmail" eyelids?, in this song it's, obviously, "pressing (down) the eyelids". Don't you even hear the similarity between "pressen" and "press"? Use your brain : English and German belong to the same group of languages, so, there's a lot of similarities : Mein - My Herz - Heart Brennt - Burns If you look into it, you'll find much more. Mit diese Ha¨nden - With these hands Hab' ich die Macht - I have the power (might) Die Augenlieder - the eyelids Zu erpressen - to press (down) And I even don't speak German ! (But I'm fluent in English, Italian and Croatian - languages from three different language groups - so it may be easier for me).
The English captions I took straight from one of their own translation sites for the lyrics. The exact German to English pairings I got from the site can be seen side by side if you select German captions.
The symbol has been used for over 5,000 years. I hope that you are well Sandras The Swastika has represented the wheel of life in many cultures Enjoy your day 😁
@Dave Powell indeed the symbol in and of itself is benign. The meaning given to it by said fascist cult in the 1920s-1940s is obscene and not representative of modern Germany nor Rammstein. Rammstein toes a very narrow line using non hooked crosses that still echo Germany's militaristic era but I think that's more as a thumb towards censorship and pushing boundaries. They're also artists and they use images, words, and symbols to challenge people's biases and perspectives.
@@count-ivannightly8933 Sandras is not an adversarial or politically minded lady. A brief glimpse of her channel demonstrates that she would not have been the author. I wish her every happiness and am sure that her guest or carer look after her well when not playing games.

@Rammstein Live Concerts lol, the way he said it sounded very close to Sieg Heil and I was like "he obviously couldn't have said that" given his disdain for neo nazis and such so I left it blank for now. Now that I know I can edit those captions.
Unfortunately I don't think they'll be touring in Russia any time soon while Russia is still invading Ukraine. Rammstein is sympathetic to Ukraine as can be seen during their boat rides across the audience when they fly Ukrainian flags. It would be too risky to tour in Russia. They could be jailed as political prisoners and used as leverage to get Germany to stop supplying Ukraine with tanks and ammo. But you know if Vladimir were to accidentally fall out of a window (apparently the leading natural cause of death in Russia lately) that might speed things up where bands like Rammstein and Metallica can start touring in Russia again.
@@armen3398 That super blows. Kind of what happens when you have countries with authoritarian leaders and a band that thumbs their nose at censorship. I'm surprised conservatives in America haven't tried to ban them yet.

I hope they bring this stage back to canada i wont miss it this time
Absolute Brilliance..
I want them to come back so bad, it was such a good show
Thanks for all the views so far guys.
No problem. Thanks for your effort!
Deutschland is my favorite to, so fucking amazing💪🏻🤘🏼
I think it took about a month for me to get all my subs added in.
Merry Christmas to us!! Thank you!!
And Thank you Count Ivan- Nightly, your videos are the best.💪🏻👍🏻🤘🏼😘🇸🇪
Getting back to work on the full concert edit. Hard to squeeze time in since I'm back to my day job as well. But until I get the full concert edit done I'm sacrificing game time. 🎮
R➕🔥 Greatest stadium show '22 🤘
Thanks for upload 👌
I was there on the floor by the middle rail center fist time seeing them live and it was awesome and amazing great job on putting this together from the show
Thanks. I fell off the wagon on edits but I plan to finish it eventually.
I will see them in may in helsinki, I have been wanting to see them for years and I managed to grab a ticket this time, so fucking excited
It's a pretty kick ass show. Ours was kneecapped a bit during Du Hast because the fire marshal for Chicago would let them shoot rockets over the audience. So Till shot the rocket launcher backwards out of the stadium. But other than that the show was everything I was hoping for.
Best concert I have ever gotten to experience - the delay due to Covid screwing everything up was well worth it
Thank You !!!
Amazing!
Thanks. Still working on getting the concert fully edited with the additional footage I have. Halfway through Radio at the moment.
Gracias como vivir después de esto?
Unbelievable how small number of people have seen this.
I was there, came all the way from Missouri to see the show
So did I. That drive sucked.

Looking forward to 2024 🔥

I love it when till dedicated the song to me
🤘
I made a lot of progress on my side project and got the full set for one of Steel Panther's openers, Tragedy, fully edited. They're no Rammstein but they were a lot of fun. Check them out sometime. I have the songs edited individually and as the full concert for their act. I'll add in captions sometime for yall internation speakers. This is the link for the Full Concert edit. Enjoy. th-cam.com/video/AgucHLwUED4/w-d-xo.html
i wait 4 hours to see this
You waited 4 hours to see this video or the concert in real life?
Count Ivan your videos are the best. And the sound is the best. Are you going to do this work on The Rammstein Tour this year 2024 ? I HOPE YOU DO🙏😉👍🏻🤘🏼
Captions are hilarious LOOOOOOOOOOOL

Yeah, I was confused at first. Someone filed me in that the Fire Marshal for Chicago wouldn't sign off on the stunt.
It wasn't the state it was the city that didn't allow them. I'm sure if they were out in the sticks like Rochelle (random town in IL south of Rockford) they'd be allowed to do anything.
I was there
Comparing this show to their European shows is like night & day. I can see why they rarely travel outside the European continent. I wish they'd play more shows in the U.S., but understand why they don''t.
What level did you have the Zoom H1n on? I had mine in 7 which was even in my pocket while recording😂 made it really muffled
@@count-ivannightly8933 alright
@Rammstein Live Concerts I tried pocketing my phone to cut down on the decibel levels when that's all I had to record with and it would have been better off to leave the mic exposed. It sounded all muffled. I think for the most part you're better off with the mic in the open if you can.
Tried to get a German to English app..can't get it off..my father is Robert Hans Krause Jr..LOVE the German language, strong, not like French nose speak..😎🇺🇸
Hellou😮
Where are the fire rockets that are supposed to be fired during Du Hast? Are those forbidden in the US?
In Chicago the fire marshal for the city would sign off for the rockets to be shot over the audience. Til shoots them backwards out if the stadium and the return rockets don't fire back towards the stage. Another person he attended that same venue gave me footage showing a better angle so you can see. I'll edit it in when I get to that song for the main edit.
А где песни из альбома райза райза,?!?!
Great video but I'm not sure of the audio though
Use your brain : English and German belong to the same group of languages, so, there's a lot of similarities :
Mein - My
Herz - Heart
Brennt - Burns
If you look into it, you'll find much more.
Mit diese Ha¨nden - With these hands
Hab' ich die Macht - I have the power (might)
Die Augenlieder - the eyelids
Zu erpressen - to press (down)
And I even don't speak German !
I hope that you are well Sandras
The Swastika has represented the wheel of life in many cultures
Enjoy your day 😁
@Dave Powell indeed the symbol in and of itself is benign.

@@count-ivannightly8933 Ok lol
"Duetschland", "Adeiu" haha
What about Russia? We are waiting for conserts🙌
@@count-ivannightly8933 I know, it's too bad that music is mixed with politics, even the latest album is not available here in Russia
@@armen3398 That super blows. Kind of what happens when you have countries with authoritarian leaders and a band that thumbs their nose at censorship. I'm surprised conservatives in America haven't tried to ban them yet.
