Even though I know some of them are really nice guys, like Joe Satriani in particular, that and Steve Vai and all of THAT STUFF is a really high quality documentation of playing ability, and sometimes musical arrangement, but rarely. What it really truly demonstrates that there are plenty of people in awe of watching someone else do basically pre-game stretches and exercises throughout the game, without any competition, no challenge, and no real creativity. Sorry guys. There has got to be 100,000+ people sitting at home that can shred their guitar just like that. I personally know about 30. And I can bullshit my way through his guitar licks on my bass, with the bass player honestly playing more interesting yet slippery licks. I mean the Casio is playing interesting lines. I remember when John 5 opened up for Queensrÿche here in Charlotte literally three weeks before Charlotte shut down (2020). John 5 stole the show, simple as that. And when this played the whole damn place blew up. Wild damn time. Hope he comes back to Charlotte again in one of the small venues, total worth cost to go.
