This was a fantastic recommendation I absolutely love these skis: 10/10. The most powerful variable snow skis I've had the pleasure of skiing within this weight class. I assume it's due to the beech and/or aramid along with an actual full length sidewall and effective edge. Weighed these at 1492g and 1478g in a 178cm. Skiers: keep in mind that these are powerful, precision skis so they won't be very forgiving for skiers still dialing in their pivoty, slarvy turns on steeps. While there's an excellent rocker, it's abrupt at the end rather than the early rise rockers (aka bananas) that promote easier, pivoty, slarvy turns. That being said you can still do much of that on this more powerful platform and get the best of both worlds it's just technically demanding.
Hi there thank you for review. Will this be ok for powder skiing - I’m conscious I will ski limited deep powder and want something that will allow me to ski on piste well
There are better options than the 95 for super-deep powder, but it's still pretty good for up to about 10 inches of powder. The 95's are fantastic blends of on and off-trail performance, so if you're mixing it up, I think 95 is the way to go.
Considering these as a option for regular touring use. How does it compare to Camox freebird, enforcer unlimited 94, and blizzard zero g 95? Any other recommendations for a stiffer lightweight mid 90s touring ski
The stiffness of the Scott is similar to that of the Zero G 95 in that they're both quite stiff. That gives you good efficiency on the climbs for sure. I'd say if that's a priority, I'd narrow focus to these two. Of those, the Scott is likely the more supple of the downhill performers with a bit more of an alpine character. The Zero G is great, but still skis like an uphill ski.
I just got a pair of these the 2022 model on line for a great price! Question ? Any build differences between the 2023 and the 2022 other than a slight graphics change? BTW the reviews from your videos are the best out there!!!

How would you say these stack up against the Dynafit Free 97?
The Scott feels a bit more like a normal downhill ski while I can't quite say the same thing for the Dynafit, which gives me touring-specific notes.

Or the K2 Wayback 96

main differences with Dynas m-tour 99?
The Scott feels stiffer, especially in the shovel. The Dynastar is floatier and more flexible up front.

I have not found anything that separates the 2022 from the 23. Glad you got them at a good price, have fun!
