I did 3 years. I was good at being a soldier. But I didn't love the job. That was a problem, and I knew it. I don't regret serving, but I realized that wasn't who I am. Serving in Desert Storm was the real deal. I feel that's where I was at my best. And that scared the hell outta me!
As a 56 year old man and a veteran...i get it, and each, and every video of these wonderful reunions pulls on my heart strings. Spend time away from the ones you love is incredibly hard, and until you have experienced it, as well as your loved ones more importantly...You my just not understand the emotional explosion you all will experience. Stay blessed y'all and keep those you love close to you always.
Dad was in Korea a third time and wasn't due back for another three months. I was about 8 years old and Mom, Sis & I were in a house where the people who owned it were on vacation. Mom was in the back, hanging up the laundry when a taxi stopped in front of the house and a man in green fatigues got out. I called out, "MOM, DAD'S HOME!" She flew through the house at the speed of sound and very nearly knocked him over.
Been at this moment 5 different times with my soldier husband. Thank u for the revisit of my joyous moments of reuniting after long seperations to..loved this
No one knows how truly hard it is for people such as myself and everyone in this video to have to live without a loved one for an unimaginable amount of time🤧😭🥺
Ive been in Iraq for almost 5years and yet to return home this february to marry my girlfriend ... I miss everyone home.. I'm just waiting to see their reactions...
I wouldn’t say no to a job paying me more than $15 an hour lol. I just got out of the Army active duty and can barely find a decent paying job. The jobs that do pay good deny me because I just switched into the National Guard lol. Feels great to be a soldier and get denied a job just because of my status as a soldier. Feels fantastic when you have a family to support, man! 👌🏼
How many orphaned children and widows were left behind Then they return to their children and wives And tears of joy in their eyes What is this duality
I keep watching reunion each day praying to God dat one day it will be I and my kids reuniting with my husband 😥😥😥😥he has been away for 4years+ seeking for a better life for us
I enjoyed watching this. However, let’s remember that for some, it’s two officers knocking their door to inform them their love one isn’t returning. May the souls of the departed soldiers rest in peace and May God grant their families the fortitude to bear their loss.
Wow 🥰 🥰 this was so so beautiful and lovely 💖💖💖💖 while watching it I suddenly wished my late parents could just come through the door that way too, this was so emotional for me 🤗🤗 may God bless you all and keep you safe always forever 💖💖💖

Big love and support from nepal 🇳🇵❤️

Umm all of them 🫶
All of 'em
All OF THEM!!
My dad served 25 years in the Army. Most people don't fully understand how hard and stressful it is on the family when your loved one is away!

Prrssmprc bom então o 😂❤governo do presidente da Câmara dos vereadores do 😅😊
let's remember about those who have not returned
Let’s not think about that
We will never forget!
When they have not returned?? Let’s focus on those who got lives
The soldiers never forget
Neither should we
Ignoring the reality doesn't change the facts
Agreed we must never forget
Don't think folks understand the sacrifice families make when a loved one serves. Brings tears to my eyes.
The best moments, no words to describe, emotions from the depths of the heart. Congratulations to all who have had those experiences.

Love the video of dad walking in the gym during his daughter's volleyball practice. 😭
The best!
I guess we sometimes forget that part of the emotion is about the reality of not knowing if they were ever gonna see their family members alive again.
I couldn't hold back the tears...both parents in the military
Soldiers wherever they are May almighty God bless and protect them.
It's so risk but are willing to serve their nations.

The men and women of our armed forces deserve everything from us. Every little thing they ask for. Without them we are nothing
