Thank you for the thorough review Coop! The pendulum doesn't have to make contact with the swing arm. You can actually adjust the swing arm further back. The swing arm can be adjusted as close to the hip pads as 3" and as far away as 24". The pendulum itself weighs 45lbs. 10 - Standard 45lb Olympic plates can be added, making a total weight of almost 500lbs. Since the pillow bushings are strategically located to make the actual weight a 1:1 ratio, 500lbs is going to feel like 500lbs. Awesome content as always! 💪
What a beast of a unit. Great review as always. Really interested in this type of combo unit for my home gym but man the space they take up is a tough one to swallow.
Its about the foot print of a power rack but since you're not using a barbell, actually takes up less space. The standard GHD that we make is 74L"x34W"x 50L". So not a "huge" difference as far as actual space taken up.
Beautiful piece but HUGE for even a 2 car home gym. Freak Athlete’s Nordic Hyper combo, although it doesn’t do loaded reverse hypers, seems like the (new) combo in a compact package piece to beat.
You HAVE to do the Freak Athlete Nordic Hyper Extension!!! Compact, good price point, and currently on sale for 550+100S&H, so 650, for a piece of equipment that has a multitude of different functions. I preordered one. I think A LOT of your subscribers have. Thanks for the reviews! And keep doing gym builds!
Thanks GGR for the review. This thing is too big, heavy, expensive to buy. The new freak athlete 4 in 1 nordic hyperextension appears to be the better option for a combo unit. Please do a review on that. Thank you. I am also surprised no one has made a ghd/nordic rack attachment yet.
Coop please, PLEASE review the fettle fitness reverse hyper combo. It's a different design to this and in my opinion (keeping in mind I haven't had the luxury to test it) possibly a better one. Thanks.
I almost bought this last year. There is literally no information online or TH-cam about it…. I’m glad I didn’t buy it…. I ended up buying a leg curl/ext machine and cable crossover….. I think I am using my space more efficiently…. Didn’t actually realize how big this thing is!!😂😂
@@JBS7551 yes I did but my concern is I’m over 6’ tall and over 200lbs which it noted that you need to add extra weight for it to be safe. Just makes me concerned overall about using it. If I’m using GHD don’t want to fall over onto my head with 2-300 lb worth of steel and weights falling on top of me.
I don’t understand why they just don’t make the back part where you put your feet in for GHD to be easily removable with pins. That way it would be out of the way during your reverse hypers.
The fettle fitness combo ghd absolutely does have a fully adjustable cushioned area that moves 360° and has a much better mechanism for the reverse hyper so that you have both a full range of motion as well as a consistent strength curve. Your channel is cool but you need to branch out and review some more quality stuff.
At that price it should be included. I like Vulcan I have 600lbs of their polyurethane plates but that’s a high price to not include those bare minimum things
It’s as if this guy goes out of his way to purposely ignore Elite FTS Also I’ve used this machine and it’s crap. Made with cheap materials and is uncomfortable as opposed to other Rev Hyps and GHR’s
Sorry you felt that way! Its made with standard 3mm 75mx75m steel. Solid steel weight posts on the penduluum and the weight plate holders, diamond plate steel on all platform areas, urethane ankle rollers, and high strength pillow bushings rated to 10000lbs. Thank you!
Or.. you could just do a barbell deadlift... lol I kow this is his channel is about gym equipment but lets be honest, 80% of these machines are just junk and waste of space lolololol
Pointless to buy for a home gym, do more all in one home gym equipment reviews, like Bodycraft XFT, French Fitness Smith Cross Trainers Racks, Jacked Up etc. I venture to guess .0000002 percent of your viewers would ever buy this "boat" for their home gym. Space is everything when it comes to home gyms, this is just too impractical to even consider.

Thanks for another great review Coop! I'd love to see a review of the Frankenhyper or a round up of the top reverse hypers.
Got the BoS reverse hammer a couple years ago to save like $300 over this , but immediately had buyers remorse not getting this
I'm so happy that you are doing all the things you are doing. It's important to have someone like you and your team in this space.
Thank you, coop. I was waiting for this review 😊
Watching this channel makes me satisfied with what I already got. Not all new things are needed 10kg is still 10kgs
Good stuff here. Louie Simmons R.I.P.
Turns out that THIS is the next piece for my home gym 🤤
Awesome!

Yup! I preordered that one. And they just added a hip thrust ability to it (and bulgarians)
yea i also got it and am super excited for it!
@@JBS7551Same (just preordered yesterday) and right, the hip thrust functionality put it over the top for me.

Freak also added a hip thrusts to it!!
I looked at it and I had to giggle a little bit at the "Hip Thrust" Option
Needs hand holds for RH lower. The range of motion will be less of a problem if the hands are lower like the Westside Scout.
Finally!!👀
Do reviews on more Vulcan products like there rubber grip rubber hex
10:47 that's what she said.
Very good machine 🎉
An exceptional device for capturing a bizarre accident scene in a horror film
Thanks for the great review! Way too big for my garage gym, but a very nice piece.
Damn I need that 💥💥💥 ✊💫
335 days No Alcohol 🏆
King!!!
AWESOME WORK. CONGRATS!🎉
You should have a home gym contest where you can submit your gym and you pick winners 👊🏼
Coop please, PLEASE review the fettle fitness reverse hyper combo. It's a different design to this and in my opinion (keeping in mind I haven't had the luxury to test it) possibly a better one. Thanks.
I second this , I’ve been considering it for a while but no reviews
You called it a Frankenhyper at the end 😂
You caught that too , huh? 😄

Love the tache Coop. Are you aiming for a Sam Elliott? P.S. Can you do a video about some cheap Nordic curl set ups.
Cheers Cowboy.
I paid like half that for stand alone ghd and rH. From the looks of it, takes up similar floor space as this unit.
nice coffee holder
COOP! Release the Rogue Manta Ray review.
Under 2 minutes and I know i'm not getting it, Thanks coop!
when are you doing the freak athlete nordic hyperextension combo unit?
You see that they added a hip thrust piece now?! I preordered it. I believe they are sending Coop one

Understandable but I think youll be fine! The review vid will be sick!@@prodigy1605
A review for Irwin Fitness please?

So bells of steel vs vulcan what's your take

If you’re a small adult, it is difficult to get on this thing to do reverse hypers
This thing is huge! replaces the car in the garage
Major Lutie Smith Machine SML07 review please and thank you
can I get the extra equipment that you don't use after your review
ggr is the goat
good but it take more space than power rack)
where is it made?
Love your reviews coop. but this for home gym 😏. this is not a garage/ home gym piece of equipment, . This is bigger than equipment in the gym itself.
The reduced range of motion & small amount of weight you could load for the reverse hyper are major design flaws in my opinion.
pendulum squat machine
This is not interesting in any way, now that Freak Athlete has announced their awesome new equipment. Imo.
Also, that thing there is HUGE.
Agreed. I preordered it. I believe they are sending Coop one (the freak athlete piece)
Doesn't seem that great for the price and real estate requirements
Fking paid shills in the comment section. How about lets never buy freak athlete equipment :)
It’s as if this guy goes out of his way to purposely ignore Elite FTS
Also I’ve used this machine and it’s crap.

Sorry can tell me the mesning of your message to me : "you are lucky winner " What ?
Way overpriced and not thought out very well. Good honest review though. Solid 4/10 for this piece.
$1700 😅 , looks solid but damn ill pass!
