My conclusion is the most Yang players focus too much on outside movements but ignore integrate it with inner chi. This master is really good to express that. I have similar integration to my Yang but frankly speaking I still have quite a distance to this master. I like it. I think this should be the right direction that Yang style go. Any one agree with me?
Master Chen has a great school with lots to learn I would like to visit hubei china again when I get the chance very nice and peaceful at shifu chen's school : )
Absolute mastery of Taichi, look at his footwork &handwork and 90 deg. kicks and soft flexible body in bending and his even tempo. Chinese martial is not just about a few kicks and rage, it has evolved into an art form, this one is a relaxation with slow basic martial arts posturing, watch his fast turn around at the end. I learn Yang style Tai Chi but my Tai chi influenced by WuDan very much.I like the way WuDan plays. I see the inner Chi integrated with outside movements. Instead, I don't see nominal Yang players can do this kind of the integration.

Great comment for 太极的柔是有弹性的柔. Now most of palyers are 像豆腐一样软弱无力. You are the expert in Tai Chi.....

都會內家拳,只是一個是道士,一個是武術家。
剛柔並濟 沒有柔的剛無法達到至剛,無至剛也不是至柔
剛柔就是太極的兩儀 柔主陰 剛主陽 緩主陰 疾主陽
但是必須透過緩柔把身體最佳的結構與運動路線找出來,達到最好的協調,才能練出真正的內勁。所以練傳統武術需要的是毅力耐心與正確的方式,最好是找到一個真正的好老師帶領,還有苦練。
陳氏始祖陳王廷的太極是有參他祖傳的砲捶,砲捶本身是比較類似心意拳,是戰場武術,是拿來在戰陣上衝殺,而武當的三丰太極比較接近道家養生的訓練法,並非說沒有實戰力,而是更多在訓練捨己從人,不靠己身之力,是有助於推手的鍛鍊,陳氏的砲捶在實戰上比較接近主戰,而以推手為輔,楊氏比較接近原始的太極觀點。
不過原始的楊氏也有砲捶,現在主要看到的楊氏是楊祿禪孫子楊澄甫傳下來的軟架,主要就是拿來養生,我認為砲捶仍然是要學的,才是真正完整的太極拳。武當其他拳術很多,就不怎麼需要練砲捶。
