I love the vibes of this build! It gives Warlock a real class identity. "A mighty figure clad in dark and warped plate armor stands alone on the scorched field of war. He holds an open tome, appearing ancient and decrepit, in his left gauntlet. A voice, which is low and even, yet deafening loud, emanates from the closed visor of the helm in a monotone chant. The words do not falter even as a multitude of arrows and bolts scatter against his armor. Mighty warriors wither and crumble as he gestures at them... Men speak of him with disgust. A few with even with envy. "How can one man wield such power!?"... Every one of them would look on this poor wretch with pity if they knew what was lost in the deal that was struck..." I'm VERY excited for your new era of Platelock gameplay. I've been playing a ton of Platelock, and while I'm not that great at the game, I think it's a sleeper hit and VERY underrated. I'm very excited to watch someone much better than me pilot the class and to learn something from it. I'm also excited to see something other than the classic torture mastery build. I've had a gut feeling that there are other warlock archtypes without torture mastery that can be very strong, but I'm finally seeing someone actually try it.
Unlike other roll Action speed (and Spell casting speed) roll on cloak are the same than Chest/Pants/Neck so it's a must have. I don't know if it's an oversight but this particular roll isn't 1% ~ 1.2% like it should be
My question for you is can we get a video on this build in solo? You have such great synergy with your teammates, I feel this would play differently since healing would be diminished due to no allies healing/ supporting. Would TM be needed to survive spell costs or would potions alone be enough?
8:20 They can't go invis for 10 seconds, WITHOUT including their debuff duration bonus. Depending on their build, it will probably still be 8-9 seconds
i feel flamewalker, since im being a plate lock and im slow anyway, and flamewalker do less dmg these days? i feel ppl just sprint at me anyway, now im thinking weakness more over flamewalker, spell predation has less use in solo, take away stats might be more important/DR, at least dats how i see and feel now after yr video (trying to figure out how to build my caster platelock for 124 and low HR lobby, as well as melee lock)
I tried to make a build for 224 gs, in few attempts it worked versus barbarians+fighter/bard in close spaces but later i happen to fight vs warlock+rangers/wizards in open spaces like the ghost king arena and got kited down pretty hard, no chance to do anything.. i dont know what im doing wrong but maybe this build doesnt suits 224 bracket
I feel like this builds weakness is open areas - you have low move speed/high defence, but will get kited easily. This build is probably better off in duos/trios where you have team mates to lean on
I think I might just have to make a dedicated video and explain to people how it actually works. Because no one seems to have a clue. Short version is you turn someone's bis kit into a mid kit with one spell.
It’s pretty good, minus reducing the other attributes by 25% it also reduces there base hp by a decent amount as well I tested on my duo he went from 162 hp to 140 with just the curse of weakness and you get the pdr and mdr reduction.
"Let's build a budget kit"
>buys a 1.6k necklace
Crazy that the budget kit cost around 6k? Damn I think we're playing different games here

The lock is back!! huge w

Welcome back to the dark side
I literally went in with this exact build yesterday and someone shit talked me and told me I didn’t know what I was doing 😂😂
kaz back on lock!? let’s go baby
Here after spell predation soul colletor buff!
Yes sir let’s get it.
God we’re so back Kaz
i play druid who am i supposed to watch now  im glad you are switching it up and having fun
8:20 They can't go invis for 10 seconds, WITHOUT including their debuff duration bonus. Depending on their build, it will probably still be 8-9 seconds
swear kaz and his team have amazing synergy
They are brothers i believe
@ damn if so that’s even cooler, love a good game with the fam
what are best items to craft on arena so it would be close to this build ?
54:12 ey that's me!
nice few matches we had, ggs
gege
How do you get your game to look so smooth mine looks like trash lol
Bye bye fellow druid
best lock is back
hell yeah man, -6% phys damage reduction on average
You should mess with ray of darkness because your running spell pred
Like you buy a visored barbuta for 80 instead of 160 to gem it later but the gem costs double the cost of you just bought it with true
Imagine if there is no visored in stock with true, If more people ran it, Its possible for it to run out so Im just buying it as if it doesn't exist.
if solo, do u think curse of weakness is good over flamewalker spacing? or just spell predation?
Its a hard one, I think both are valid options. Try things out and see what works best for you

@ If youre solo Id remove spell pred for flamewalk

Betrayal!
Most foul
I dont believe debuffs like COP or shriek of weakness should do so much of a nerf, it feels to devastating #IMO
is there any reason for vampirism? isn't there no magic healing?
Healing pots
Why do you use a Crystal Sword instead of a Longsword or Shield+Flachion?
I build mag power, mag power increases magic damage, Crystal sword deals magic damage, My spells deal magic damage, which is boosted by mag power.
@@kazaren gracias, and welcome back to the lock side
Would this work in solo?
short yes
void blade could work on the build?
Missing strength from the build but you could retro fit it a bit yeah.
Had me until we spent insane amounts of money on gems
Curse of weakness still doesn't seem that strong.

disappointing to see you play with a cheater :(
who is it
@@RunMadGames a guy at the end of the video. bard
