Thank you for the video. Me and my daughter found a baby rabbit. I was sad it was alone and I thought to myself to leave it alone, but my seeing my daughter's excitement and happiness I was brave enough to catch the baby rabbit and shelter. Due to our neighborhood with dogs and cats, we shelter baby rabbits. A few minutes passed away. I felt bad I tried to feed it and clean it by showering and drying the rabbit. I'm trying not to be hard on myself, the baby rabbit could have had it worse outside, all I did was provide shelter.
The baby rabbit was vulnerable. If its mom was dead, it would have little chance of survival. Perhaps as it grows you can give it a choice to be free. As you spend time together can you use your discernment to discovery if the rabbit is happy?
I found a nest of 5 baby rabbits in my yard literally during the solar eclipse. 3 of them passed away (one from hypothermia/starvation, the other two were lost to a 4 foot snake I caught in their nest a few days later). I rescued the other two (and relocated the snake). Currently caring for the babies (former wildlife rehabber). I’m in the midst of a big leap in my career. I hope this is a good sign :)

I like to sit I peace outdoors sometimes. Recently I scared off this coyotes 2x while I am at my favorite spot. Then this rabbit and its babies started to come out about 30 years away. It's been about 2 months now and everytime I come they come near me and eat around me. Has become a great way to end afternoons.

I saw one this morning while waiting for my ride. It was a baby jack rabbot I have not seen them in years, I ised to see them when I was in a rehab hospital for physical therapy . And we have a lot of hawks, and coyotes where I live and a lot if not some of wild animals are becoming no more they are less of them.
The massive land development is crowding out wild animals.

My uncle used to also hunt deer and rabbits, I never ate rabbit but I have had deer once, he used to send it to me and my mom my mom used to like it I could eat it but don't have a taste for it.

In the midwest, I see rabbits all the time, even in the summer. It is a garden so, I just ignore them. They eat my garden flowers and such. So, I traveled to western Texas in the desert like area on a ranch. I parked and went inside the house, and I looked outside and out on a rocky area driveway, there is a rabbit by my car. He didn't go under but laid down beside the car for awhile until an hour later he decided to leave. There is no garden here. Did he follow me. Rabbits are rare here. Is it a message?
