Today I started investing in Quant Small Cap (3k) and Mid Cap MF (1K). Am I right? Is my choice right?
Sir which investment is best sir
By doing PF double or triple
Or by investing in stock market
Uncle aapko Etna hi Jankari hai

Sir, which investment is good “SIP” or “ETF”.
As per your latest series of “money matters” your suggestion is SIP.
So, out of these 2 which is good and safe investment?
Sir muajha ek loan Lana hai 2nd hand truck Lana ke liye 11 Lakh ka kun sa best hoga please batao
This is an amazing video. Because you have shown there are so many types of mutual funds, some of which also invest in fixed return government bonds. No one tells people that and everyone think Mutual Funds invest only in Stock Market. Absolutely fantastic video. I have learnt a lot about Mutual Funds by seeing this video. I will also share this video in my groups..
Point is Mutual Funds like Conservative Funds give average of 12% returns which is safe even during crash and it's still more than FD returns. People are not even aware about these types of Mutual Funds. Those who invest in FD for fear of risk should at least switch to these.
Glad it was helpful!
First time seen anything Other than excel calculations… like the content and the way it’s explained 👍😊

Super
Bro...... Really good information. But there is one thing that whenever there is crash, all category MFs get a dive excepting Debt funds or Govt. Bonds.. It is a fact that small cap funds get more drop but I don't think that any small cap fund has ever gone to zero or didn't recover ever after the crash.. Market crashes and recovers, that is the behaviour of the market. People invest to get better returns and they invest knowing the risk factors. I know people who have invested 2000-3000 monthly in small cap funds only for 15 to 20 years and have built a corpus of Rs1Cr+.
You are amazing and I am growing fast with your videos. I am a cbse principal n I find you the best teacher great job

I was thinking of doing the same, are you still investing?
I've kept much of my savings in cash for safety, but I'm unsure if it's right for retirement. Contemplating investing $400K in stocks, as I've heard investors can profit in tough times. Unsure about my next move.
it's wise to redistribute your capital to mitigate risks during market fluctuations. Consulting a financial advisor can help simplify this process.
Yeah, I’m also closing in on retirement, and I have benefitted much from using a financial advisor. I didn’t really start early, so I knew the compound interest of index fund investing would not work for me. Funny how I pulled in more profit than some of my peers who have been investing for many years.
Please can you leave the info of your lnvestment advsor here? I’m in dire need for one

This is one of your channel's best videos. Don't know why it has fewer views than others though. Maybe because in this video you were not optimising for views but for usability. Kudos!
Don't get carried away by the returns, You need to be mindful about the Sensex rally in last 4 years(one of the rare event) which has changed the dynamics of all the mutual funds and these dynamics would not applicable for those investing now, since market is in consolidation phase. I have been actively investing in Nippon small cap since 2017( earlier it is reliance), till 2020 my XIRR always negative. If there is an option see last 7 or 10 yrs returns then the no would reduce to 20% or so.
You can check rolling returns of the fund for checking the returns during different timeframers
Have not tried anything yet but still the knowledge shared seems to be valuable
Thanks

My 80% Amount is invested in Small-Cap giving 22%XIRR from last 3 years and recently invested 15% Amount in Mid-Cap Index Fund which has historically given a return of 25%XIRR in the last 5 years whereas, 5% Amount in thematic Fund which is an NFO.
Total XIRR is showing as 17.38% and I'm okay with it, realistic expectation is when you expect between 15-20% XIRR in long term investments!

Hi Ankur,
Nice video.
Everything cleared.
I have 1 doubt.
Today I am earning 25k pm & planning to invest 5k pm in sip.
Lets say 3k in index, 1k in mid, 1k in flexi cap, step up by 10 %
But after 5 years I hopefully will be having 1 lakh pm job.
Then how can I edit my existing 5k investment to 20k or 30k or 40k pm?
Today I started investing in Quant Small Cap (3k) and Mid Cap MF (1K). Am I right? Is my choice right?
Sip or one time?
Looks like sip, good choice
Thank you Sir. You have explained so precisely about hybrid mutual fund (aggressive and conservative funds). This has helped me think beyond FD returns.
Thank you 🙏 , one request, Background music is not required while you are explaining things it's bit disturbing
I agree 👍
Summarizing the alternatives to Small Cap Mutual Funds based on investor risk taking capacity - Flexi Cap, Multi Cap, Large & Mid Cap, Value Funds, Hybrid (Aggressive / Conservative) Mutual Funds.
In COVID small cap fell 35%= (405-258)/405
Hybrid fund fell 23%= (276-210)/276 which is also huge
Ankur sir , please correct me if I am wrong. 🙏🙏
It is still far less than how stock market or small cap funds slumped.
Sir, please make a video on SIP, how to buy SIP.

Truly useful sir.
I have gone through most of your videos and they are really helpful. However, I didn't find your videos covering following topics related to brokers. I request you to enlighten us on following points:-
1. Is brokers like zerodha safe to buy stocks?
2.what happens if brokers go bankrupt?
3. What happen to our stocks when we buy them through brokers are the holding ir or is stored somewhere else? If so where are they stored and how safe are they? Can we clam the purchased share if brokers shut down?
4.if brokers go bankrupt how to claim our stocks and related documents as the website and apps of the same broker might not work?
3. Is there any other risk involved related to investors being deceived?
You taught us so much about investing and we are thankful to you. Kindly make a video to clear my confusion on above noted queries.

How to make career in stock market ? like in investing or trading
Trading POV: You have learn about the markets and the candlestick after learning, better to do paper trading.
Then you got good knowledge you will get good enough money daily*
Investor POV:Accumulate the money and stay invested in equity markets like stocks, mfs
In stocks you have to fundamentals and technical analysis
Otherwise go with mutual funds for atleast 3-5 years 😊👍🏻

I want some advice.....
My stipend is around 55k and my annual clg fees is 1.25 lakhs
Should I.....?
1) Save 10k per month for 12 months (may be as RD)
OR
2) Bulk save in the last 2-3 months (invest initially for 9-10 months and then stop investing and save for fees in the last 2-3 months)
Jo bhi aapne suggest kiya us product k etf me jae ya sip hi kare??
Please suggest
Why not to invest in high performing mutual funds (3yr CAGR > 40%) for a min period of 3 years and keep switching over the years?
What’s the advantage of sticking to one mutual fund for 15 years over the above strategy?
Investing in high-performing mutual funds and frequently switching may seem appealing, but it comes with risks:
Performance Variability: Past performance is not indicative of future results. High returns may not sustain.
Transaction Costs: Frequent switching incurs fees and taxes, reducing overall returns.
Market Timing Risk: It's challenging to consistently choose top-performing funds, leading to potential losses.
Sticking to one mutual fund for 15 years offers:
Compounding: Long-term investments benefit from compound growth.
Lower Costs: Reduced transaction fees and taxes.
Stability: Less stress and better management of market fluctuations.
Thus, a long-term approach generally provides more stable and reliable growth.
Please make a video on multi-asset fund like equity, gold, real-estate, crude oil, debt and cryptocurrency etc 😊

Hello sir
My dad is going to retire in May 2025. He will get aprox 20L-25L as PF and gratuity.
How should he invest his money, how to invest, where to invest. Shall we keep in bank.
Please guide.
You can put 70% in midcap and 30% in small cap for atleast 3 years.
@akshaybhosale1996 if this money from your dad's retirement is all that he has to live on and he has no other funds/assets then you need to keep this money in the least risky places. In that situation putting most of the money in fixed deposits is probably the safest and the rest in some safer investments like government bonds and/or maybe gold. Equity and stocks might be too risky for him post retirement.
On the other hand if your dad has other funds/assets which will take care of his expenses and this 20-25l is just an extra that he has, then you can look to invest it in stocks, mutual funds, etc. But please consult a professional expert before taking any final decision.
Thanks for such wonderful suggestion. He will get a regular pension and i am also wotking so not need that money right now. So we think to invest in safe.@@Sarkartraining
It's depends on your risk appetite.
If you don't want much risk, keep some percentage in fd and sip into index
For retirees SCSS - Senior Citizen Saving Scheme is good option, gives quarterly interest @ 8.2% for max investment limit of 30 lacs for individual and 60 lacs for joint ie. with spouse.
you should have added balanced advantage funds or dynamic asset allocation funds which is best for lumpsum investment
Hello @ankur warikoo sir. have a doubt. Is there a centralized database that we can refer to know which mutual funds offer automatic dividend reinvestment or investors have to manage the dividend themselves? Cuz it's been a year since I started investing and it just clicked my mind that how would compounding actually work for the funds I have invested in if I am not touching the dividend.
