Colorado regulators find 'systemic issue' with Carvana

- Since Contact Denver7 first started investigating complaints about the online car dealership Carvana, the state of Colorado is taking action. Denver7's consumer investigator Jaclyn Allen has been digging into the problem, and she sat down with the head of the state agency cracking down on Carvana.
The state isn't powerless. They can suspend their dealer's license and the AG can sue.
Trust in car dealers was always at a low nobody thought could get lower. Carava said, "Hold my beer!"
They need a physical address..And huge bond to protect the public.. Not just in Colorado, try California, Washington State, Orgeon, Nebraska, and all over the East and South..They need federal laws , strict paper work, it's history, stolen, wrecked MFG defect and out of warranty used as delivery vehicle, and titles on every car sold.. Just like any other dealership..All of theses cars should be taken to a mechanic Tobe check out.. BEFORE they are put up for sale..and the VIN Number run..Buyer beware..
My husband bought a car at the carvana San Antonio and we were not allowed to see or drive test the car until we bought it. The car had brake problems that were very obvious.
They need to stop them selling in any state.
literally got fired for bringing too much attention to a customer's issue where a customer was told when her contract was getting rebuild after title issues and it took 5+ months of dealing with her contract being rebuilt, several reps told her she will have the delayed months of rebuild( mind you she couldn't make payments while system showed no purchase or contract) she was told we will cover those payments. Until bridgecrest( the financing ) started threatening to tow due to lack of payments. very VERY long story short and many arguments with management later I was finally successful at getting carvana yo honor their word to her. No where in training do they tell u to warn customer's to continue to make payments or put those payments in savings because they will be charged one lump sum. This woman had just lost her daughter, husband went blind and dealing with bs reps who didn't care and she was ready to sue... until she got me. We were told to treat customer's as if they are our mother...( the unspoken fine print to this "company principal" unless it doesn't benefit carvana. Principles only apply when it makes carvana $$) after the light and questioning the system I was then plotted against and 30 days later fired after I was sent home due to child needing covod test. They then refused unemployment claiming I knew I broke the rules. The owner has earned himself the title of WORLDS BEST SCAMMER.
Plus THEY DO NOT EVER INSPECT THE VEHICLES DESPITE WHAT THEY CLAIM. 95% OF THEIR VEHICLES ARE LEMONS!!!!
Wow. The cars are sold FROM Colorado where the corporation being accused of malpractice is LOCATED but since delivered to other states that absolves The State of Colorado from any prosecutorial responsibility? Very nice. Very, very nice.
Yes, but you get seven days to have a mechanic check out the car and get your money back.

I would never buy a car unseen. That's just stupid. Carvana is toast but I bet the founders sold their shares when the price peaked. I guess they think they're above the law. You know what? They could be right.
Department of Revenue in Colorado only wants them to have title so buys can pay registration fees which are egregious in Colorado.
