So after some time, do You have any more big bugs/ problems working with Logic Pro X? I am looking for a controller to work with Logic. As well is this automatically connects with Third-party plugins? Like Izotope, Native Instruments, etc? Thanks!
@@omihovilic I will be watching. Trying to decide which controller to get. I know I can map the Avid to some knobs but when using plugins such as an SSL "console" from Brainworx etc. there just aren't enough knobs...
Great vid. Is it possible to link the show/hide specific Groups commend to Logics Controller Assignments? I'm using a regular midi controller to control Logic and showing/hiding different Groups would be a great addition to it.

Thanks for the video. Just got an avid dock running on Logic Pro x .... on a MacBook Pro m1. Got the last version of eucontrol, downloaded the avid control on iPad and uodated firmware of the avid dock. Went in system pref, in the eucontrol, added logic as application. And that’s it. What am I missing??? In logic , the transport from the dock doesn’t work, there is no interaction between logic and dock. What did I miss?
Please check with Eddie Jones on duc forum if M1 macs are supported. I really don’t know what could be the issue. With Logic and Eucon everything is plug and play.
@@omihovilic really oh ok. Thanks. I downloaded protools (still on the MacBook pro m1) to test eucontrol and avid dock. All works fine. So it really comes to logic and not eucontrol as I thought. I’ll follow your advice and check with Eddie. Thanks
Thanks Zagreb. Does the 'Dyn' (dynamics) button work with logic's compressor plugin properly? It's never worked with my avid artist mix's or avid control app :(
@@omihovilic ok you have to press the input button to insert the compressor? I've just tried that on my Artist Mix and that brings up the inputs. Pressing the DYN button doesn't insert a compressor or bring up it's controls if it's already inserted on mine :( - sorry for getting your name wrong by the way Ognjen!
Chris Dececio only on Stem tracks. On other tracks it works as expected. Via Inserts button. At least on S3... don’t know about Artist series. What verion of LPX do you have?
Just want to know I always have a problem with eucon being +12 on fader, and logic is just +6 so theres so much space left on the upper register of the fader even if logic fader is already at max. Cant seem to find a work around with this anywhere.

Super helpful. Any chance you could demo using the Avid with some Logic Plugins (ideally both apple and 3rd party).
Not at this moment. I'm working on some other projects but it would be a great video.

And you don’t need to add Logic in the preferences at all. That is for MCU or HUI applications.

@@ChrisDececio something is odd. The compressor doesn't appear under Dyn or Inserts on Stem tracks but under Input. But the controls work ok.

There is no longer such a thing as the "Arrange" window, It's the Main window now.
