@@AerialBon you would not believe how i lost my mind when i: 1) realized there is a dog 2) caught a glimpse of a second dog and thought "are there Two dogs???" 3) saw that there ARE Two Dogs!!!!
Thank you so much for making this! I’m so glad I found this because I’m having trouble finding tricks that I can do because my silk seems to be too short to do most of the tricks I come across. I was able to do some of the tricks in this video though :) they were also pretty easy to follow so I want to thank you for that.
That's great! fore a lot of tricks you do need height, but I learnt everything I've done on my channel with a ceiling height of 4.2m (4.5 yards) so there's a lot you can do with little height 😀
5:44 interesting this version of Layout you did, I guess the tail was too short so you didn't key over to prep, like you've done other times, but this time after you completed the wrap, you didn't key over, you just went straight to the drop. I love discovering that that's an option! Kinda makes me wonder what the purpose of keying over is anyway. By the way, where I'm from, this thing you call "Layover," we call Pencil, or Double Pencil.
I do both silks and hammock/trapeze (and pole). I'll say this silks is by far that hardest thing I have ever done! So humbling. The trapeze is prefect for stretching and hanging upside down. The yoga hammock (no handles) has a little more ability to do tricks as the trapeze would be. Trapeze was my first apparatus, then hammock then pole then silks. Aerials is addicting if you love it you love it. 💕
these look so pretty! also, i kinda hate it when people say that only women can do aerial- men can do aerial, same with women; women for example can play football too.
Hey so I know you might not understand but do you know the name of this move, it's where you get really high up on the silk and then you get into the position of a straddle then you drop, this silk has to be in a hammock
For the Double Diver drop is there a way to control the speed you fall through the silks? I've been practicing this drop for weeks but my biggest struggle when I go through once, the second time looks very sloppy.
You can break at the waist a little (so your head and feet move slightly closer together) and then straighten back out. This will help to control the speed of the drop 🙂
My first tip would be to find the music you want to perform to. As you're listening to the music think about which moves you've learnt fit well with certain aspects of the music. E.g is there a big beat drop or crescendo it might work well for a drop or a fast spin, slower parts you could do certain poses etc. Try to visualise while you're listening
I found Aerial really hard when I was starting (and still do 😅) so I know what it's like. But hey, if we keep training and keep trying then we can do it 😁 we got this! 💪
i only have 12 feet of space to do drops but ive done all the beginner drops that i can do you know any good intermediate drops i can do with that amount of space?
At that height you'll be cutting it very fine with a lot of bigger drops. My studio is 13 feet 9 inches and that's not hight enough for some drops. Stay safe
Hi, I have about 11 feet of space and when I tried to do the layover, I was at the very top, but I am scared because I don't know if I have enough space to do the drop, I was wondering if you could tell me about how high you need to be to do the drop successfully?
It depends on your height and build a little bit as to how far you will drop. My studio only has 13 foot 9 ceilings and sometimes that gets pretty close. I wouldn't want to go much lower than that personally.
😲😲😲😲😲 my face the whole 8.04 minutes .... .I did drop 2 days ago n my brain n tummy still can't process the feeling 🤣🤣🤣 full of butterfly. Any 💡 or hint where my eyes 👀 should focus when doing DROP?
I dont particularly focus on anything while doing drops, unless it's a drop that you need to catch the silk with your hands, then I'm looking for the point I'm trying to catch.
Hello!! Its me @harrys_c00chie from tiktok,i tagged you in a video of a drop i'd love to learn on tiktok, could you maybe do a tutorial on it? (Dont feel pressured to make one)
I don't know if anyone will see this comment, but I really need to become stronger in my arms, as it would make my life so much easier while doing arials. Anyone have any simple exercises that I can do at home without a pull up bar and without weights?
Upper body strength will definitely help. But you know what, doing aerial will help get you stronger too! just keep at it and you'll build strength. Or if you can, start lifting weights on days that you aren't training silks.
Circus arts have long been inclusive of all genders. Have you ever seen aerial duos? That’s how my husband and I got together! Just like Aerial Bon said: gymnastics, aerial and other sports are for everyone 💓 Keep training and having fun! 😊
When you said “you can do this” at the beginning it really inspired me so thank you 😊
Also ur dogs are really cute
I'm so glad! When I first started I had to tell myself and my classmates 'You got this!' everyday. Aerial can be hard, but it's a lot of fun 😀
@@AerialBon Thank you so much for having this tutorial and you have made me really happy
The dog watching at the end might be the cutest thing to ever happen
Love how the dog slightly leaned to his left whe he did the drop part..lol
Thank you for sharing!! helps me refresh some things I already know and learn new variarions. Keep it up! ❤️
This is so beautiful!!! I’m trying some tonight thank you for sharing your talent💜🖤❤️
Thank you so much! Have fun and stay safe 😀
I'm going to do the same
Just found your channel. I love what you're doing. 💜 I'm jealous of this gorgeous set up.
Thank you so much!! And welcome to the aerial fam! 😀
I love this! I need to be more confident in drops. These look so fun!
Maybe you can't tell, but I"m actually afraid of heights, so I totally get where you're coming from. 😅

I loved that one
I’ve only done the slack drop from a know but I’m exited to try it on the regular silks!!!
How did it go??
I was looking up swinging trapeze yoga swings for something I been wanting to try lol
Aerial yoga looks so fun, I've never tried it though.

Do you have more information about how you install in your backyard your aero yoga swing...
I've been planning a video, but haven't filmed yet, keep an eye out in future 🙂
Hi just a quick question where did you get your aerial rig 😊
Crunchtime :)
Thank you so much
Where can I get that mat that you are using?
Heyy! I’m having issues with the bomb drop ( from front dive when you go through the two silks and become a ball lol ) can you do a tutorial?
Sorry, I'm not sure what this move is. If I learn it, I'll definitely do a tutorial ;)
the bomb drop is tricky i don’t think there’s much of a tutorial than to just bomb
drop 5:13

Is it similar to the waterfall / butterfly drop I've done?
@@AerialBon never mind I found it its called the bullet drop
how long is your aereal silk in video?
Quá tuyệt vời nhất ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Where did you get the frame from?
I loved this! where did you get your rig (the thing that holds your silk up)?
Crunchtime :)
how high do you have that hung ouside? we have to 11 foot, and I feel, we cant do anything
My rig is about 25 feet high 😊
My studio only has 14 foot ceilings. With a crash mat that brings it down to 13 feet. Everything I know I've learnt from that low height
Thank you for the vibes, I am now levitating in the sky. 🤍
We’re did you get the stand that holds the silks
Rigs are big and heavy, so it's best to buy local if you can
Hold up- Ive been doing arial for 1 month an d 1/2 now and im fully capable of doing the second drop!! That just cheered me up

Where is your pole frame from? !
