I have the AirPod 2s. I bought the L4NCs for my husband who currently has the Liberty Pro 3s. While overall the AirPod 2s are better for noise cancelling and phone calls (I have an IPhone) these L4NCs are super close. I actually prefer the sound after doing some tweaking on the soundcore app. I can’t get the bass I want on the Airpod 2s without flattening the rest of the sound. I was able to customize the sound much better in the L4NCs. I remember how much I loved my Soundcore Pro 3s when they came out , and how much more excited I was about the Airpod Pro 2s (huge upgrade from my original AirPod Pros for noise canceling) I’m blown away and just as excited about these for the price. They not only sound really good but the ANC is fantastic. If you want a really good pod for an amazing price just get these. I think they are a really good happy medium of both sound and ANC and you won’t have buyers remorse. I have a ton of expensive pods and over the ear headphones… there are amazing things with each one but none are the total package and I’m always left wondering if I should have purchased them…but then the next one comes out and I do it again lol. The L4NCs are super for the price and I doubt you will have buyers remorse if you pick these up for 79.00. I’m picking up another pair tonight for my son… or me. Lol
@@-The-Golden-God- did you do the firmware update? I did the hearing test I. The app that analyzes the sound best suited to me. I added more bass to that and I’m pleased with it. Is it as robust as my soundcore pro 3s (not quite) but for the price and the ANC being as good as it is I think it is great. I think if they were able to put dual drivers in these and still keep the price down that would be amazing.
Hi! How good is the ANC compared to Apple AP 2P? I am blown away how good is the ANC on Apple but I have an android phone so yeah, I would go for Soundcore NC. Is it at least at 75 % level of isolation of the apple pods? I work in a very loud enviroment (krane) so I value ANC and fast pairing with the phone the most. Thanks!
I bought the Soundcore Liberty 3 Pro to upgrade from my Tozo NC2 but ended up always using my Tozo’s instead. I think Apple discovered the best form factor and that’s the stem design. The L3Pro just would not stay in the ear properly during workouts and picks up terrible wind noise when I go for my 5km runs while still not sitting properly. I’m never buying non stem designs ever again.
As someone who owns several of both, trust me the L3P is hardly any standard by which to judge stemless designs. They're total outliers even among winged types. Love mine for sound but would never work out in them, too unstable. Among my most secure stemless buds is the Tozo T12 Pro. Among my most UNsecure stem designs in the JBL 230NC, which is polar opposite of my JBL Live Pro 2, a VERY secure stem type. Long story short, 'it depends' applies to buds of any type.
@outermarker5801 I thought the JBL Live pro 2 were garbage had to return them. Noise canceling seamed to work but not for people on the other end of the call. They complained so much about background noise being way to loud & I found myself barly moving when on calls so I didn't create to much noise. Every one I've tried so far that claim to block out background noise only blocks it out for you but the person your talking to not so much. The hunt has been very frustrating.
@@michaeldavis6550 Don't know when you had them but there was a fw update last time I connected mine to the app. Can't say I've had huge call quality issues but maybe you make more calls in more conditions than I do.
I've been running Earfun pro 2 for two plus ears & they have been a great value with the exception of the mic volume. Looking at the Soundcore 4nc as both are a great value for Amazon prime days at $40 & $55.
I have a suggestion. It would be nice if you could also provide information about the speed and quality of switching between devices for Bluetooth headsets with dual device support. I think Soundcore Liberty 4 NC has dual device support. As consumers, we are also curious about the quality and speed of the transition between devices. As a result, this issue is important for us in daily life.
agreed! nobody covers this, and when I got a pair of Beats (which should switch like airpord pros), they were very buggy, and I'd often have to manually do things.
Great comparative review. I ordered L4NC today; expected to arrive in about a week. I will personally never buy airpods pro 2 again. Too many issues with crackling/static; had to replace several pairs... they are all defective. Apple knew about the defect, but instead of addressing the issue, they just kept replacing people's buds and extended their warranties. If not for that major issue, they would be great buds.
They're good, but they sound not better than the 4i. The only thing which is significantly better is the button handling during sports. You can customize quite a lot in the Soundcore app (single, double, triple tap...). So for single tap I set no action to prevent that something happens when touching the headphones to adjust etc.

Just bought a new pair of liberty 4 NC in Black Friday but I have a problem. It connect to my phone or computer as soon as open the case. Is there fix for this?
I just tested the 4NC against the Earfun Air Pro 3 on that matter and the AAC of the 4NC has 1/500th of a second more latency than the AptX Adaptive of the Ear Fun AP3. Not a big deal at all really and on things like TH-cam it tends to compensate for it after 10-15 seconds. The EarFun is more accurate out of the gate. I'm in two minds about which to stick with. The 4NC has better NC, but has an audible white noise with it turned on vs. off. This is present no matter which ANC option you choose in the app or with wind reduction on or off. There is something similar on the AP3, but barely perceptible. It sounds more natural. Ironically I had a set of £10 TWS before which offered ANC closer to my Bose NC700 than either of these. Go figure. I used comply foam tips with both the £10 TWS and the AP3, but do not have any to try for the 4NC due to the odd soundport shape and size. The sound is more immersive in the 4NC than the AP3. The Surround option in the app doesn't need to be used. It's not helpful and makes the sound thin. By default it has a better soundstage than the AP3. Bass on both is great, but on the AP3 I have to tune it down massively. Still, I found the 4NC brighter (in contrast to this video's thoughts), but found longer listening periods more tiring than the AP3. Since this video there's more options in the Earfun app, including a more tuneable EQ, but if I didn't have both earbuds side by side I would quickly get used to the AP3 and not miss that extra enjoyment the 4NC gives, and overall have a more comfortable listen over time. I have to say on some songs the extra brightness does tend to make it lose some clarity. I think AAC may have AptX beat on sound or maybe it's just these specific units, I don't know, but I use multipoint daily and on the Liberty 4NC you cannot use LDAC with this, which is a shame, but AAC is fine. AptX on the AP3 is great too, with the caveats on sound above. The areas where the UX is better on the 4NC is having customisable auto off. It defaults to 30 mins if no connection or not worn, but can be customised down as low as 5 minutes. The EarFuns switch off after 10 mins of no connection and they don't have wear detection. On that point, the Liberty are pretty neat to have that feature, but I don't know how much I'd use it. I sometimes wear two buds and remove one when I don't want to have both on, but would rather the audio didn't stop. It can luckily be disabled. Also more tweak-ability in the app for NC functions (e.g. transport types). You can also choose which taps and prompts to have audio feedback for more so than the Earfun app provides. The Earfun app does allow for changing the volume and language of the prompts though. Language settings are not needed for the 4NC which instead relies on a series of beeps. Hard to know what Normal / NC / Ambient mode you're in sometimes if you're listening to music. That said, when you have reached max volume the 4NC let out a distinct tone but the AP3 do not, so that's frustrating. You can also set it so that the 4NC touchpads doesn't register taps when the buds are not worn, so that works well as an added bonus of the wear detection. The areas where I dislike the UX of the Soundcore is the constant toast that pops up with battery life on the phone, the delay vs. the Earfun app for the app to "connect" and the actual touch pad sensitivity. Even with both ears in, sometimes the sensitivity on the 4NC is not accurate and often I have to try again. The AP3 design is such that there is an indent to avoid accidental taps but it is more accurate registering them when you do intend to. There was also an odd quirk where the custom controls reset to default until reconnecting them so that was odd. Connectivity is slightly better on the AP3. They're quicker to connect and have less odd behaviour when forcing disconnect from my laptop. Both work with multipoint fine, but the 4NC take a little longer to react to sounds from different sources. Range is fine on both with my phone but on the laptop the 4NC cuts out less when walking far away than the AP3, but my laptop is terrible for BT generally through walls. I like the case design on the 4NC but the lights are rather bright (would frustrate my wife when I'm taking a bud out to sleep with), and sometimes the release switch doesn't work first time. That said, when it works it actually makes it really easy to take these buds out onehanded. Really handy, but noisy upon closing. Again, the AP3 are better for quiet use at night to stop disturbing my wife - she's a sensitive sleeper to sound and light! On fit, I definitely agree with Aaron. The AP3 sit snug, and the Comply foam tips help me enjoy them more. I know there are tips now available for the 4NC but yet to try them. So pros and cons to both, and currently only a difference of £6 paid (with the AP3 being cheaper slightly). Hence I am not sure which to return.
How is the call comnectivity. Some reviewers were saying the 4 NC sometimes fail to pick call automatically on Whatsapp, it drops the call to phone speaker and need you to click the Bluetooth icon which will go back to phone speaker. Have you tried to check that please.
Hello Aaron, give me a solution : what’s the best place to keep the pair of HomePod for best sound, especially the bass. I am especially looking for the height.
Love your channel especially the sound samples.. can't tell you how much I appreciate it. Can you please do the OP buds pro 2 sound sample, Waiting for your review to buy.
Hi all, can someone help me, i had soundcore life p3 and i love their overall sound quality, but they were still a bit bigger for my ear size, i always had to push them in after a while so they don't fallout, so should i go for earfun 3 pro or anything better u guys know, what I'm looking for is a combination of overall decent sound quality and best fit for my small ears👂
ANC was best on Soundcore. Call quality was utterly debatable between Soundcore and Airpods. Soundcore wins in my opinion especially considering price diff.
Liberty 3 pro has better sound quality, and microphones. But this has longer battery life and newer active noise cancellation technology. I think this also has any more pocketable case. Personally I'm not crazy about STEM designs. But I tend to be a minority in that. So I lean towards the Liberty 3 pro. But if you don't mind it's time design it's compelling to get the better battery life. Space a40 could be an option as well, just because it also has much better battery life but weaker driver technology and microphones. Liberty 4 and the Liberty 3 pro cost a premium because they have more expensive driver technology. On features it's pretty much a watch though, or even just a straight up win for this space a 40 and the Liberty 4 nc just because of getting like 30 to 40% more battery life per charge
Good morning to you Aaron. I hope you're doing great. I'm a very loyal fan to your channel and I watch your videos probably daily. I find your way very interesting and enlightening however, I'm yet to see my favorite earbuds "in action" in your channel. I wanted to ask you if you're thinking about reviewing the new TECHNICS EAH-AZ80 any time soon? I know you're probably waiting for the new Sony's but apparently, TECHNICS could be the "king" of the market nowadays. It's just that it would be great to have your professional opinion on those. Thank you in advance!
Thanks for the review. Do you happen to have a Bluetooth LE/LC3 Windows/Linux device? If so, have you tested gaming latency and call quality on it with the earbuds that support it?
I hope this comment gets to Apple; the iPod Pro, and the first ones I hated the small and soft tip on the ear. I had to custom (glued and make) from circle tips. So that they can hold on onto my ears!!! so they won’t slip away.
I totally disagree. The Liberty 4 NC is noticeably poorer than earfun, both in quiet and noisy. The caller sounded way more natural and real in the earfun than Liberty 4 NC. I hated the way the receiver sounded through the Liberty 4 NC.
Considering the prices of Bose and Apple, it is really surprising that the performance of Liberty 4 ANC is close to the quality of headphones that cost three times its price. This headset is a must buy.
Not too pile on the pressure of a lot of people wanting you to review the Technics AZ80 but I've seen a few reviews and it's transparency mode is as good as the Airpods Pro2's. Believe it or not. 💯🇺🇸
My 4NC's arrived last night and I have to say I'm very disappointed with them. The sound quality is no better than my £17 Taotronic buds and the fit is awful. They don't grip and just rest in my ear. The ANC makes everything sound awful.
Oh that's disappointing. Obviously it's just one small sample size of one from a stranger on the internet but anytime a new product comes out these days I'm trying to avoid buying them at launch. Everything gets super hyped up and it just makes sense to wait until regular people get their hands on them and can report on them without worrying about squandering there TH-cam partnerships and relationships with sound core (let's face it nobody wants to turn down the sound core sponsor content or early access these days and why would they). All that said, I'm surprised you can at least eq it to get some satisfaction. Whatever you think of soundcore, their EQ and app is pretty much best in class. Unless you have something with a parametric EQ like the qudilek 5k or moondrop little white
@@Wesjapa100 if that test says it doesnt, it sure as hell doesnt fit well in your ears. If it says it does I agree with you that it still might not seal well even though the app says it does.

How is the call comnectivity. Some reviewers were saying the 4 NC sometimes fail to pick call automatically on Whatsapp, it drops the call to phone speaker and need you to click the Bluetooth icon which will go back to phone speaker. Have you tried to check that please.
I haven't experienced that on mine yet but I wouldn't be surprised. Bit more polishing needs to be done about its BT
Hello Aaron, give me a solution : what’s the best place to keep the pair of HomePod for best sound, especially the bass. I am especially looking for the height.
I enjoy your reviews for the THAT killer tune as much as your technical analysis😅
As far as quality sound is concerned which is best...love from lndia..
Liberty 4 ANC or sony wf- c700 or jpl tune230 ? Plzzzz My prefrences are sound quality, call, battery, anc
eartips for airpods pro 2 can be used for liberty 4 nc?
Best review Sir.
Thanks a ton!
Apparently the
SpinFit Omni for True Wireless Earbuds will fit, mine on order

Love your channel especially the sound samples.. can't tell you how much I appreciate it.
Can you please do the OP buds pro 2 sound sample, Waiting for your review to buy.
oh wow I was about to get it but airpods 2 pro sound so much fuller. Theres such a big difference
Well, the stock EQ is always a little muffled on Anker, you can change it to something cleaner in custom EQ.
Which one is better jabra elite 5, or opera 05 or this
I guess I'm weird but after watching this video (looking for TWS with ANC) I buying AirPods Pro 2.
Fantastic comparison!
Fantastic work!!
Thanks!
Strange, for my ear Airpods sounded the worst in noisy environment
thanks,help a lot
You’re welcome!
Thank you for this.
Sony linkbud s or liberty 4 nc?
4nc
What are the best bass earpods you can shake your head …. The price is not important
Aviot TE-d01v th-cam.com/video/_nC_UWwBkic/w-d-xo.html
ANC was best on Soundcore. Call quality was utterly debatable between Soundcore and Airpods. Soundcore wins in my opinion especially considering price diff.

I don't get the sound samples? I'm listening to them on a phone !
which one is good for android apple airpods pro 2 .. or sony wf 1000m4..
This vid should help th-cam.com/video/jhgXnMKbzds/w-d-xo.html
This or liberty 3pro
I like having noise cancelling. My pro 3s sound great, but I like these better because they block more noise. They are also easier to put in my ears.
As soon as it's available in my country 🤷🏻♂️ Thanks for following the content!
@@aaronloudnwireless Thanks a lot!
Thanks dudee
Bro you King 👑
Which one sound quality,bass,anc?
*Soundpeasts Capsule 3 pro
*Earfun Air 3 pro
Thank you soo much 👑🔥
Update on this? 😅
Thanks for the review.
Do you happen to have a Bluetooth LE/LC3 Windows/Linux device? If so, have you tested gaming latency and call quality on it with the earbuds that support it?
Thanks
Should I get the Liberty 4 or 4 NC if they are similar priced? Thanks!
Nc better
Can you compare the liberty 4 and the liberty 4 NC to see if there are any big difference ?
Already did

I hope this comment gets to Apple; the iPod Pro, and the first ones I hated the small and soft tip on the ear. I had to custom (glued and make) from circle tips. So that they can hold on onto my ears!!! so they won’t slip away.
I totally disagree. The Liberty 4 NC is noticeably poorer than earfun, both in quiet and noisy. The caller sounded way more natural and real in the earfun than Liberty 4 NC.
I hated the way the receiver sounded through the Liberty 4 NC.
Which one should we buy Liberty 4nc or ear fun?
Can the equalizer of L4NC adjust the noise cancelling? Or is it just for the device audio input?
Anc of liberty 4 Nc 🔥, look like the Sony WF-1000XM3
Considering the prices of Bose and Apple, it is really surprising that the performance of Liberty 4 ANC is close to the quality of headphones that cost three times its price. This headset is a must buy.
Not too pile on the pressure of a lot of people wanting you to review the Technics AZ80 but I've seen a few reviews and it's transparency mode is as good as the Airpods Pro2's. Believe it or not. 💯🇺🇸
As soon as it's available in my country 🤷🏻♂️
Too? To*.
6:30 Sound quality
Same issue with fit. I can’t get them to stay in with any eartip while running
What does the fit test in the app say. They obviously sound like shit when they don't seal
@@ItzLnX This fit test is a gimmick, it does not work whatsoever!
@@Wesjapa100 if that test says it doesnt, it sure as hell doesnt fit well in your ears.
If it says it does I agree with you that it still might not seal well even though the app says it does.
whats the best earbuds to cancel ppl voices with anc?
You're the best of all my friend! Thanks for your efforts! ❤

status between 3anc wireless earbuds
Shalom Brother
Good job 👍
Can you test some Earbuds for the gym? I mean Earbuds like Soundcore sportx10, JBL endurance race or JBL endurance Peak 3, LG Tone free fit, Sennheiser sport true wireless, Tribit movebuds h1, JLAB epic air sport or other.......

Its sad you don't talk about battery life
During Amazon Prime Day I purchased both the Earfun Air Pro 3 @ $50.61 and Soundcore by Anker Liberty 4 NC @ $85.79.
Are the 4 NC worth the extra $35 sound quality is what's most important to me?
Or do I get the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 @ $140 I own the Liberty 3 pro and Edifier W240TN
Wich is The Best in thesse 2 models...?
Watching this vidoe with these buds on 😅
The Air Pro 3 is currently half the price of the L4NC so its a no-brainer for me.
There's no price difference in my country, so I think Liberty 4 NC is better value
Its like 3 times more in my country.
If u guys basshead like me u will regret buying airpod..Overall is superb but when it come to bass nah..
Aaron thanks for great review. when you'll review status between 3ANC :) come on man waiting for it
Awesome
That we invention of the oval tip likeBOSE did is ugly he doesn’t fit on the ear they slip away they need to be longer
If Anker can get that sound quality from Apple, then its over!
Thank you for this video ❤
Jesus Loves you
Hope anker will add gps find device on maps and 100% ANC
Equalizer 🤷🏽♂️
I didint order okey 4 NC
Sony needs to drop the XM5’s
They did wdym
The mic and cancelation on pro 3 is trash
Please please please guys never buy Soundcore earphones. Somehow only their earphones stops charging earlieast. I have tried several times, I have sony & other brands too.. only Soundcore stops charging the earliest!!
Try warrenty
Earfun mic is terrible
AirPods crushed them all.
The mic is very bad
Sony wins again
