Thomasville, located in NC, is very expensive upscale furniture. Several years ago, when I lived in Winston-Salem, NC, my husband gave me 2 Thomasville wing chairs for my birthday. They were on sale for $600.00 each. I still have them, but several years ago had them reupholstered. You did a beautiful job.
Wait! Are they still manufacturing Thomasville? My local storefront closed and I assumed they stopped manufacturing. They produced such beautiful pieces and this BR set is no exception.

I love to watch your channel and have learned a lot. My problem is I’m a senior citizen and am facing my 5th joint replacement so doing refinishing myself is out of the question. I have a set of French Provincial bedroom furniture that i would love to see painted but I’m in Southern New Jersey and don’t know of anyone in my area that does refinishing. If anyone knows someone in South Jersey or the Philadelphia I would appreciate knowing.

i have seen it with darker colors like a black wash so I decided to try it over a lighter finish! i don't think it would work with a dark finish going to light finish tho!

I’ve been thinking of repainting and you gave me a complete roadmap for the job! You really did a fantastic job all around! So proud of how far you’ve come from your parent’s garage. You inspired me to give our 1970’s bathrooms a facelift with Beyond paint and they are now coastal style and I’m pretty proud of myself. Keep up the great work!

I love the work you do and have followed your path for the last year or so. I have 2 questions for you or for anyone else who refinishes furniture: Question #1) how do you get around HIGH HUMIDITY when it comes to painting? I live in SE Georgia and I swear there are days where it feels like the sky is sitting on my shoulders. Do you just paint anyway and give it longer to dry? Question #2): I have noticed that most furniture flippers (big- or little-time) all work independently. Some have helpers, but it's still their own little ball of gilding wax. How would you deal with someone that wants to be part of the process, but always seems to hold up said process because it isn't the "perfect" condition to paint/sand/work???? This is really driving me crazy and has limited me for the last 4 years. Help!!!

Are you still out there doing this? Funny. How long has your store been up and running now, 6 months? Hundreds of people have tried to run used furniture stores. They are bare-bones, bottom-feeding retail operations. They always fail. 1 year, 2 years, 3 years--but sooner usually rather than later they fail. The numbers just don't run. Even if people give you their old furniture, the numbers don't run.
