I've never had a nde but have felt the abandonment of "the church" and "friends" within when God told us to move to another city. We were following God's message and our church and friends didn't support us. So we moved to a new city with no friends etc but knowing we were on His path for us. As this was being narrated I kept remembering the Scripture when Jesus said something about the birds of the air have nests and foxes have ---but the son of man has nowhere to lay his head. He too felt alone I'm sure. But He did it all for his intense love for us. So we were rejected by the church for our faith in Him. But He never rejected us.. ❤️❤️🙏🏻😇
John 14: 6. Jesus answered, I am the way and the truth and the life. No one come to the Father except through me. 1 John 4:1-3 1. Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets has gone out into the world. 2. This is how you can recognize the Spirit of God. Every spirit that acknowledge that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God. 3. But every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God.
*To anyone reading this, I pray that the pain, uncertainty, and despair that is holding you captive will be released by God. May He give you the faith to walk through the darkness and find the light of peace. You are loved more than you think, and God will never leave you. Amen.*
God is not in the building, but God comes in the place where and when the Christians gather together to pray and worship in Jesus name. For as Jesus said where two or three are gathered together, He is in the midst of them. I think we should not judge others. You are judging others by what you felt. You have not known God before, when you went to church, to you who do not know God, what the worshippers did were meaningless, to you and others like you, children of the followers of God. The worshippers worship God in songs, but an unbeliever only sing the song. The worshippers pray, beseeching God's help, an unbeliever only recite "the prayers". To an unbeliever, everything done are just part of a program, rituals to please God. To the believers what they do are expressions of their adoration for God. Though it's true also that to many, they are simply hardpressed to not miss church to not displease God, not because they would want to be in the presence of God, the God they don't know, the God they had never related to. Maybe you should try to go back, and see if it would still be the same meaningless for you, or maybe you would now understand why they do what they do, to feel what they felt. How they sing their love songs to God, and express their reliance and faith in God through prayers.
My brother was part of a religion that, when his daughter "fell away from the truth" he and her mother rejected her and she was left alone to find her own way without the love of her parents. He later - years later - realized he'd been wrong but the affect on her was everlasting. Her life is in shambles.. Maybe not only because of that but feel very badly for her that she probably doesn't know if her dad REALLY loves her for who she is. Sad what religion does to people

A spiritual awakening is intense, a very lonely confusing place, but a place that changes you clearly forever! There is no going back!
"Church" is not a building, a sect or a denomination even. Church is us. Church is all of us who believe in Jesus Christ, the Messiah.
Yes.

Run from religion and open the Bible.
AI BS -- goes around in circles repeating itself endlessly.
