If it had different singer I can bet you the song would have been appreciated better. And Karthi never lived as Vanthiyadevan at all. When you watch the film you only see Karthi, not Vanthiyadevan. He is the only actor who didn't adapt to the film character while other actors you can only see the Novel's character and not them. He was entertaining no doubt, but a poor choice still. Listen to Ponni Nadhi in Kannada version. Sounds so much better thanks to the singer.

As a cinema lover, appreciating the visual and everything, it was well shot and extremely good. But as a PS fan, see a big contradiction between the visuals and story. There are mismatches between the story and the visuals.
