Honestly, I questioned every single award she won, even Best New Artist. I am not Spanish or speak the language, but listening to El Mal Querer and comparing it to WWAFA,WDWG? side by side is easy to see which of these albums were better, plus taking all the impact Rosalía's had in music for the rest of the year (Con Altura is the most viewed song by a female artist in 2019, just to mention one thing) is quite safe to say that she's the best artist that's appeared in the game the past year. I don't even think that, among the nominees, Billie was the best new English-speaking artist, that has to go to Lizzo and her incredible voice, versatility and stage presence.

Billie should have taken home an award, but to give her all the awards in all the major categories is way off base.

My theory is that Billie won all those awards because the academy wanted her to win. I think she deserved but I think she didn't win in the right way.

Both were critically acclaimed and excellent albums, do not dismiss Norman F- Rockwell's quality and deservingness of the AOTY just because "you heard thank u, next everywhere", Norman F- Rockwell isn't your typical mainstream genre album so of course you are not gonna hear songs from it, that doesn't mean it's not good?

Taylor deserved Song of the Year. She was the ONLY sole songwriter in the list for a (basically) SONGWRITING AWARD. Plus it’s one of her best songs. #Scammys

Writing was on the wall for a while that Billie would win Pop Vocal Album and AOTY. Just bad timing for Ariana. Similar to when Gaga came out w/ Born This Way in the same cycle as 21 by Adele. All great albums, but the Grammys consistently do not reward risk-taking, especially in pop music.
At least Billie got up there and acknowledged that she thought Ariana deserved album? of the year. I think that made her even more humble
