Unfortunately, Cziffra never recorded Schumann's first piano sonata although there is a 'live' Besancon recital performance in poor sound. I understand that he was to have recorded both this and the second sonata of Schumann. A great loss! Also, he never recorded this heartfelt improvisation on a Dvorak Slavonic Dance.
