The Map of the Soul ON:E concert was an online concert that was a replacement, kind of, for the Map of the Soul Tour that was canceled this year because of the pandemic. It was a feature for everyone that watched it live to not only be able to hear it live, but the BTS members were able to hear all the people streaming the concert live too. I had never been able to secure myself tickets for any of their concerts whenever they came close to where I live, so getting the chance to be a part of one, even if it was online, it was the greatest thing ever. I was crying when I was watching it online 😭 And Sweet night is OST for k-drama Itaewon class. As I said in previous videos, he has good friends from Hwarang k-drama where he acted. Even before the performances of my time and filter. The songs were already charting higher so it’s not true that they’re famous because of the performances. They were good songs and people have different tastes although inner child definitely deserved more hype. It is a very beautiful heartfelt song and i cried a lot when i first heard it

The "ships metaphor" lyrics is so smart. "Ships in the night" means 2 ships that cross path at sea, so for a little time, they are facing each other but then each ship goes in its own direction. The 2 ships in the song mean 2 people falling in love but they missed their only chance/opportunity to do something about it because V sings "but I had already reached the shore" . So when "he" realized he had feelings for that person, they were already far apart (at shore)
