13:48 yup, thats his mother. she's a member of a church choir. she used to dream of being a singer. when his father was kind of againts him being a singer, his mother persuaded his father and supported his dream. she's also the start of his singing journey, she would support and accompany him in singing competitions. it was her dream to sing together with eunkwang on a big stage.
7:18 actually, that is not his sister, she is a non-professional singer who got chosen by eunkwang to sing in the show (fantastic duo). Eunkwang has a younger bother, they did a trio stage together with changsub on TV. I think you maybe referring to his stage together with his female cousin. It was for another show called DNA Singer

He recently said that he started taking classes again, i think last year. And that he got called out for using a lot of exagerated expressions while singing haha and that he's always wanting to improve and theres always room for better technique.
I'm super impressed with his commitment to his craft. Also duuuude his whole family was born to sing, it's absolutely no surprise he was born with a lot of talent and we're lucky he has been so dedicated to honing it.

Knowing that he can sing any genre even Metal Rock. Eunkwang's is one of the most versatile singer. This man's vocal prowess surprise me to no end. The mere fact that Changsub and Hyunsik studied Applied Music at Howon University but Eunkwang didn't, albeit he still the one who was appointed as Main Vocalist and leader of the group.
