    This Tutorial teaches how to do swipes which is a basic power move. This is a fairly difficult move so you want to make sure you drill it over and over until you get the basic motion and form. Once you get the hang of it do 5 swipes at a time over and over until they clean. Enjoy!!!

    My school just had its yearly talent show and I watched everyone performing and I really wished that I had taken my breaking seriously. I have been fascinated by it for about 2 years and I have learned a few fitters steps and freezes but I’m going to actually start learning and practicing every day! Hopefully this will be my first power move! Thanks Vince!

      cow juice you are probably younger. Also, many people have a different definition of actually learning the Powermove. For some it's just doing the motion, it doesn't have to look clean. For others it has to be clean to say that they can do it.
      Clean swipes took me 3 weeks back then with constant training, I was 19 then and it's pretty tiresome. Now I'm getting into swipes again in the age of 21 and it's even harder haha.
      You are a kid I guess? It's easier for you guys, you learn a lot faster, you are lighter and you have more energy, that's your huge advantage ✋

    1 TIP: TO TRY AND KEEP YOUR HIPS UP I THINK IS TO START OUT FAST AND IT WILL HELP ON 1 LEG THATS HOW I LEARNED MY SWIPES

  • @takenspark546
    @takenspark546 9 ปีที่แล้ว +13

    Got the 2 leg swipe in 1 day and have been doing it for 1 week now, the main thing why i don't do it perfectly is the pain in my wrists. After 2 or 3 swipes i get that pain, like if the arm and hand bone were touching each other.

    • @MicahGreaney
      @MicahGreaney 9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I've been having that issue as well. I think it comes from lack of strength, and so we are compensating with pressure in our wrists. Over time, our muscles should grow and it won't hurt anymore because we won't be relying on our wrists. So we should give it more time I guess?

    • @kewlioy0
      @kewlioy0 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      I got the 1 leg real fast. I had the wrist problem too. Your wrists will gotta get used to it. Also, try to kick off really hard.

      ***** Just a tip here, to gain more strength and flexibility for freedom in your moves I find yoga for strength works really well. If you're a little worried what your mates might say when you tell them you're doing yoga which i find a lot of younger people have issues with. Well you will be pulling off some pretty cool moves a lot quicker then them after about a month of yoga training.
