You got me again! My mom grew up in Leeds but lived in Silver Reef-in the Wells Fargo building- in the late1920s. Mom was born in 1926 so she must have been quite young but remembers "China Town" still having a few structures still standing. She also knew Anne Bassett quite well. Her great grandpa, Willard Glover McMullin, and his sons did a majority of the stonework in Silver Reef. I remember visiting relatives who also lived in the Wells Fargo building in the early 1960s. I'm loving your channel! Btw Ann Basset and Eta Place were definitely NOT the same person.
Just found your channel, thanks for taking us to Silver Reef. When I was working up there, did'nt have time to visit . Now, guess I'll get to ride with you.
Thank you for watching, we get out weekly to new locations and destinations. We love ghost towns, National park, theme parks and unique destinations. I hope you will ride along with us.
@@weekendescapades Yes sir, I will be back I lived i Utah in '77/'78 and didn't have the opportunity to STOP at the places you are visiting. It's great.
@@weekendescapades I was there many years ago. Saw Well Fargo but missed the rest. That building is in many ghost town books. My understanding is that area has grown greatly since then.
