What I feed my pigeons

Great mix. I would remove the whole corn and cracked corn. The pop corn is enough. I was told the crack corn can hurt the pigeons. Good stuff. I just added sunflower seeds to my breeding mix.

Thank you for this post. Someone gave me a rescued pigeon & we found out that the pigeon's owner pasted away. The lady gave me the pigeon because their roommate's didn't like the pigeon. I've been trying to research what's best, and this video helped a lot. I took her to the vet & he said she's in great health, but she needs to pick up more weight. Thank you 😃

The pigeons swallow the BLACK OIL WHOLE SUNFLOWER SEED WITH SHELL, is the ok can they digest the shell of black oil sunflower seed???

Yes you can. A mix of 50% 16% layer pellets 10% scratch 15%black oil sunflower seed and 25% wild bird mix or just increas and decrease the foods it your breeding..

i dont see flax, hemps and other important elements to keep the birds feathers, and digesting system Healthy... i agree with Dutchman... where the grit and Candy feed?
