Suits is one of my favourite fragrances. It's the equivalent of around $16 here in South Africa, so I bought four bottles. I just had to make sure it will always be in my fragrance collection. With over 120 fragrances in my wardrobe, Suits is in my top ten.
@@CiprianFx59 I have the tux and I absolutely love it. Gets compliments from guys and girls and I put a mini dent in the bottle. Debating if I wanna buy another one or just get the real deal. But I need some actual commentary on suits
I don't think you actually reviewed Suits. Performance is a big part of it and you didn't mention it. Also you could've delved deeper into the Tux vs Suits comparison instead of just talking about the bottles.
@@reboot4357 What are you talking about? At the 2:30 time stamp all he does is talk about buying Suits vs a sample of tuxedo. And breaks down the notes? You can get notes from fragrantica, reviews are supposed to, you know, review the fragrance.
I am pretty sure it was no coincidence that the performance was left out of the review. I am happy with Maison Alhambra kismet, it has average performance 4-6hrs just like most of the reviews reported and was only @$20. But If FW Suits is a legit 10-12 hr beast like some of the commenters claim, I assume he would have mentioned it.
It performs very well, you get the 8+ hours on skin. Good sillage and decent projection for the first we hours but that sillage for me has been really good. Got mine in recently, Dallas talks about subpar performances in videos so idk why people are thinking he's doing it on purpose here
It will be my next purchase. I am very impressed with the quality of Fragrance World and am eyeing several other perfumes from this house, including this Suits. I've bought Oud Wonder & Mocha Wood, very smooth, absolutely no bursts of alcohol. And crazy long lasting! Around 12 hours on my skin. For such a low price, I'm very impressed.
Just got my Suits Fragrqnce world bottle (April 2023 batch); compared it with my Kismet for Men (Macerating since Jan this year); they both smell extremely close to each other and close to Tuxedo. Kismet was not a great performer when I first used it in December last year; but after macerating it for 8 months, it's become so much smoother and it projects really well now; opening and dry down it's stronger than Suits. Suits is no slouch either. It's strong from first spray; so I assume after macerating it for a few months; it will project louder. Kismet is sweeter, has more of a patchouli, woods, and Voilet accord; Suits is Spicier, has a slight citrusy zing, and has the sweetness dialed back just like Tuxedo!
@sheshewantit45 as it's a newer batch, it's good, but it will get better with maceration. As of now, I got about 5 hours of longevity on skin and about 7 hrs on clothing; projection was above average for an hour, with great projection for the first 30 minutes. However, with Fragrqnce World, it needs a good maceration for 3 - 4 months.
@Joey3105Tube I would say it depends on what's cheaper online. Here in the UK, we get these UAE fragrances/clones cheaper than the US. If you can find Suits around the same price as Kismet for Men or even if it's 25% higher, get Suits. As suits is created to be a clone. Kismet is an accidental clone, as it's meant to be a clone of a Kilian fragrance, but has ended up smelling closer to Tuxedo. Suits is great, probably after maceration it will smell much closer to Tuxedo than Maison Alhambra's The Tux. Remember, fragrance reviewers give their reviews off the sprays from a newly opened bottle; so after maceration for a few months Suits might smell and perform better to The Tux. I got Suits for £24.99; which I think is overpriced as I could have gotten this in Dubai from the Fragrance sorld store for £10.
I was expecting a more comprehensive/detailed review of this fragrance tbh and it’s not. On my skin it tends to linger for up to about 6-7 hrs but I find it so light and hardly detectable (don’t know if it’s just a weak batch)-… more like a skin scent throughout the life of it. Getting the Tux next week, can’t wait to compare.
Suits is great, probably after maceration it will smell much closer to Tuxedo than Maison Alhambra's The Tux. Remember, fragrance reviewers give their reviews off the sprays from a newly opened bottle; Or after a short test for a couple of days from a freshly opened bottle. So after macerating Suits for a few months; it might smell and perform better to The Tux. Basically it's the same story for all Fragrqnce World fragrqnces. I have over 25+ from fragrance world and about 30 from Maison Alhambra; Maison Al Hambra/Lattafa fragrances get stringer and smoother sooner than Fragrance World fragrances. I got Suits for £24.99; which I think is overpriced as I could have gotten this in Dubai from the Fragrance sorld store for £10.
I agree with what you said, I have several fragrance world frags ; my favorite for winter being cocktail intense, a dupe for Angels' Share. I also have a couple of the Maison Alhambra invictus clones, and those are great and last a long time too. I also let things sit and macerate because I have so many fragrances and I can just use others while they 'mature' . Those whom knock them on longevity have a point when comparing to the original frag ; but not when the original frag is 4-6 times the price.
Your worst review ever. It was more of a bottle review than a fragrance review! Why no comparison between the tux and suits as far as smell, performance and etc? The scent and performance is more important than the bottles.
Love Suits alot. That DNA is amazing! Haven't tried Tuxedo, and cannot find The Tux in stick. But what about Paris Corner's Tudor (another Tuxedo clone)? Am curious.
@@UnknownbutKnown947 I have 4 bottles of Suits so will check the batch codes. No idea how to measure projection. Disappointing video... rather than a review of Suits it was more of a review about the Tuxedo DNA & the look of the bottles. Even when comparing to The Tux it was all about the bottles... why so much emphasis on the look of the bottles? Even if The Tux is getting difficult to find if someone does have a choice between the 2 clones which one should he go for?
I would not pay more then £20 for suits and more then £30 for the tux, if you pay these prices they Wil only hike the prices further when the retail value of these are around £10 including shipping ect they still shouldn't be more then £15. Buying them for £35-60 they are making profits more then 80%which is joke.
This is like buying Jordan replicas. Sure it looks similar at first glance. Until the jumpman starts falling off after 2 wks because it wasnt even stitched properly it was glued lmfao
