From where I'm seated I can see the robot is not navigating on its own but rather being controlled remotely by a pilot. Another "Amazon self-checkout moment" for me.
That's it. It's remotely guided because in their online system, the table numbering was down when I visited them, so I didn't choose it online making them guide it to come to where I was.
Yeah, when you see some section of my video I scanned menu. In that menu, you're supposed to select your table for the robot to access you. But in my opinion, the AI involved is limited as I doubt if it has the capability to self learn the routine process and do it on its own after taking in enough data. But it's a good technology. Waiters don't have to be walking around
This should not be allowed in kenya and africa .When will ever learn ? Robbots when we have struggling with unemployement !!!!!! That cafe should be closed
I totally agree with the owner of the hotel everyone starts business to maximize profits so the owner is trying to cut off expenses of paying workers if you can't have it open your own hotel and employ people
@@melca123 hehe Sasa tufanye bro?😂😂 It's a complex situation, the robot is good for the business person, but it's tricky for someone looking for employment

Objective of a business in most cases is profit making.
