Yeah "5th Harmony" was a "put together girls group" too. At "X Factor USA". They were/are damn good. Although their top singer left to go solo. I don't know if they replaced her or just going with 4.
Being an American I dont get to watch the X Factor UK live unless someone posts it, but I have to say that for people who believe little mix didn't deserve to win you are sadly mistaken, not because Marcus wasn't good, it's simply because little mix is better. I have heard of little mix here in the U.S.A and so have so many other people, they have a huge fan base here, I have not however heard of Marcus ever! The only reason I even know who he is, is because of this show, which I have only watched because of little mix. I don't know if he is popular in the UK, but i would guess not. Little Mix won because they are truly amazing and people knew that they would make it big time in the music industry, Marcus however seemed to have fizzled out like so many other really good artists that have been on the X Factor. That's why they won because they are something so unique and they're connection and friendship with each other and the audience is unlike any of these other contestants. AND NOW THEY'RE THE BIGGEST GIRLBAND IN THE WORLD ;)
