I think supports leveling based on objectives would be awesome. You can select one to upgrade and after 1000 enemies defeated it goes from level 1 to level 2, top 100 in story rank goes from level 2 to 3, ect. The randomness of supports at the moment is a big turn off.
I’d be down with alternate ways to raise star level for sure

I think supports are great. My 3* Dr. Strange is great with his character specific support but it's so rare and I have a lot of red iso. I guess I have 144 characters and maybe about less than 10% has a support.

@@MPQMastery I have a noob question, how do I get 2,3,4 and 5 stars supports? I have a couple 1 star and an Ebony Maw 2 stars. They "evolve" after reaching max level or what?
Sadly they dont evolve. You just have to hope you get the same support at a higher rank. MAybe they’ll revamp one day

Thank you for this video. But this still doesn't answer my question: Why doesn't a level 1 support go to level 2 when I pull a dupe, but get red iso instead?
Because duplicates just give more red iso. You have to pull the same support at a different star level. I remember I pulled a 1 Star and then a 4 star and now I have a 4 star.
@@MPQMastery So if you pull a 4 star it turns into a four star. It isn't that a dupe just bumps the level by 1. You just need to pull a higher racking version.

maybe i didnt read the instructions, but i was wondernig why doctor strange wasnt getting any extra healing in pvp even with the support.....and now i learned that you cant have support in pvp.....you get a like just because of that crucial piece of information.
also when a support says "fires a power" that also includes passive powers, right?
I find the Support availabilities very annoying because they are so rare to get. The few times that I've gotten these I have gotten probable one third of them as duplicate.
that true. They need to reinvest in Supports as a main feature of the game, I think. That said, I use them pretty much all the time!

I have many supports, many at lvl 1, for example vintage shield 50/50, but even if I find another equal support it gives me a duplicate and does not become level 2.
Do you need special tokens to increase the lvl?
Nope. Only getting that same support at a higher level gets you that next rank sadly

gotta be honest, I think the supports are pretty disappointing. Very few of them really make a big difference in gameplay until you've got them to higher ranks, and it's so hard to level them up that there's little incentive to do so. Certainly not worth the hero points, CP or actual cash MPQ is asking for them.
while I now look at MPQ. There is a 50 bucks sale for a five star kitty pride and 4 star prof X. I don't liek this. Now you can just buy 5 stars.
Well, you can buy a cover. Buying one cover isn’t the same as buying a full championed charcater or anything
@@MPQMastery No, but what I loved about this game is that you couldn't buy any covers . You just earned them with daily, weekly quests. All other games just have you throw cash at it to get stuff. This game didn't have that. And now in three days time there were three money spendings deals(iron man, guardians and now x-men). IF this contious, this will turn into another buy to win game.

Very useless feature. You get tons of red iso, great! Ohmm wait, but you get only 2* supports, which ones are mostly do nothing. Hmm never mind you can level up and star up them..... NO you can't but if you give us your money maybe you can upgrade it, MAYBE.
Useless if you don’t have good supports sure, but once you get into it they are pretty cool
