Correct certain phones if they don't sense an Internet connection will ask you if you still want to connect to that Wi-Fi signal signal glad it worked out

If there is a lower hanging protrusion in the ceiling can I add track and set the door opener further back, beyond this lower hanging area? (I don't know yet if this lower ceiling area is going to be a problem but I am curious about the ability to extend the track further IN to the garage.) Thank you for any help.
Thank you for the comment chamberlain does sell an 8 foot and 10 foot extension kit these are more for doors that are taller but I guess they could be used for your purpose as well

I think there may be some confusion. The wall controller does have wifi access it's the garage door until itself. So it your unit has wifi then you can control your garage door from anywhere. But if it doesn't have wifi then you still need the Hub.

Usually that means something is wrong with the battery but I would contact chamberlain because I could not find anything about the different battery symbols.
Thanks for the video. The key takeaway for me was that my pixel 3 wasn't working but an iPhone might. What seemed to be happening on my pixel3 was that it just wouldn't stay connected to the opener wi-fi network. The Pixel3 didn't find an internet connection through the opener wifi and it would switch back to my home wifi. I managed to stop it from doing that but then it would just time out on the opener network and disconnect. On the iPhone it asked if I wanted to stay connected to a wifi where there wasn't an internet connection. I clicked yes and all went well. A key to my confusion was that the process of connecting your smart phone to the opener doesn't immediately tell you that you can't connect your phone to the opener until the opener is connected to the internet through your router. Getting this thing working is a two step process: 1. connect opener to your router 2. connect your phone to the opener. I never got step one to work with my Pixel3 so all the screwing around that I did trying to get step 2 to work was useless. There are two of us and I was unsure of whether to add the second person as a guest or just give them access through a different account on their smartphone. Adding the second person as a guest worked and I'm not sure that more than one account can attach to the garage door opener.
First with android you have to select connect to a network regardless of a connection (I don’t remember the exact option). Second you make one account but can authorize multiple people more then just guest.

I wonder if this pad would work with the newer chamberlain b6753t with camera. Unfortunately the pads that come with the newer style motors have gone backwards and there’s no more digital display.
The MyQ.... Doesn't show up on my wifi connectivity options. How do I fix that. I changed internet providers and can't get it back connected on my phone.

My question is this: Do these things come with dedicated remotes? The reason I ask is, in my state, you cannot use a cell phone in a car. You cannot even touch it in the car, unless the car is turned off. So, I'd rather have a dedicated remote to open the garage door, and not have to use a phone app. Is there a dedicated remote?
Just one recommendation....don't install the battery or power up the opener until you're finished wiring everything. I noticed that when you installed the wall controller it powered up immediately because you had already connected the battery. Had you touched the ends of the two wires together you would have completed the circuit and the door would be activated.
Me again! You should rewrite the instructions for the dumb ass camnany. Bigger pictures and less writing. I am still mad about installing the garage door opener before watching your clips.

What about if the spring is fighting the machine?
My guess is you need to downgrade the strength of the spring since they have different weights they can hold

Yes In the app there is an alert section and you can specify when and what action would set off an alert.
