It’s getting rougher and rougher in the US sis... they gotta get it together
why I love living in the UK. wouldn't raise my kids in USA either unless I homeschool.
I'm Nigerian and I went to school in the state's almost all my life I did ss3 in Nigeria and left I actually enjoyed both experiences it gives u a realistic view of how the world is the only thing I didn't like was that my parents didn't teach me their language I still feel like I lost something especially when kids told me to prove I'm Nigerian but I'm a strong soul we thank god🤣🤣😂
Esther Agoda we came to the U.S from Nigeria when I was 2 and my brother was 4. My mom said it was hard retaining the language when we started going to school because we didn’t want to learn. She didn’t have a group of folks who spoke our language around. So I understand your story. I’m teaching myself, and every time I go visit, I immerse myself in the language. We are Nigerian, it’s in our blood
@@IjeomaKolaYT This comment aged well. It's Sept 2020 now and the US is looking crazy.

We aren’t both Nigerians. Jonathan is Kenyan and I’m Nigerian. Kola is not only a Nigerian name.
Kola is a Aluo
Kola is a common name among the Great Luos.
Congratulations!!! Nairobi is awesome! I am considering it for the near future.
Make it sooner 😆 we need more diversity and culture
When your ready just let me know. Your welcome
Congratulation on the major moves happening to you and your family. Welcome to Kenya.

Kenya is good if you have a good job and money. If not you will die in poverty and disease.
So happy for you and congratulations! I’m going into the second year of my PhD program and am already looking towards to finishing.
I’m actually thinking about doing an MBA program during or after my PhD and would like to move to Africa in the long term since it aligns with my research and I am first-gen Nigerian-American. I would love to know what fellowship Jonathan had for his program!
So proud of you! Congrats girlfriend. We are out here cheering for you!!!
I need a girl that looks at me like the way you look at Jonathan.
Jonathan also looks at her with admiration and love.It is a two way traffic dear.
G ur day is coming....but make sure when it happens u don't like her whole face 😆 lol

I’m here but I’m so stubborn and a pain in the butt😂🤣 jfl
Am here hun for u
I just came back from Kenya and Ethiopia yesterday😂 it was a nice experience to experience the motherland for the first time as an African
Welcome to Kenya! You'll have a blast exploring the country and the region, loads of direct flights from NBO. You'll also get nannies to help out with the little one when the time comes 👼🏾 Just be precautious when sharing the apartment hunt some vloggers have been robbed prior 😕 I wish you a delightful & fulfulling time here 🤗
Thanks for the pro tip!
Nairobi is a great city just skip the house hunting part from the public. keep it private. It’s a big city but still small 🙂 You will enjoy this great East African country definitely 🙂
Africa is the only good place to raise black children. Was obsessed with moving to the US but now, my son's and husband's safety is all that matters 😊😊❤️❤️
You should link up with craving yellow here on TH-cam - she has your type of content ie natural hair related and recently moved back to Kenya too. Good luck on this new adventure
I will continue cheering those who have made it back to the roots till my time comes. I love Kenya. Africa is the real deal now.
Ijeoma let me tell you, you will stay longer than you think. My friend and her husband( she is Kenyan and her husband has a Liberian mother and Kenyan father) move to Kenya in 2012 and never looked back. They visit less and less over the years. Now we go visit them.
Welcome to Kenya!!You will love it.
All the best as you guys start a new chapter.
The braids look lovely on you gorl! And I'm so excited for this new move -- yay!
Village market is a great place to check out the shopping and to get salon service- check out grassroots salon... lots of options- you will be spoiled for choices.. enjoy. Apartment hunting- check out Hurlingham, Westlands, Lavington as they are close to the city center..Prices are steep but well worth it if you don't mind the extras...
Yaaaaaay!I love you guys!I also moved back to kenya from California.I moved back right after my wedding. So i feel you!Welcome back.Let me know when your in mombasa. So i can meet you💕
Welcome back home and may doors of opportunities open up for both of you, Africa needs us just as much as we need it. My family and i are moving back to Kenya in October God willing, we have two daughters aged 10 and 8 and though they will definately miss their friends whom they've grown up with, they are very curious about the new life in Kenya. As parents of afro italian children we knew our girls need to be with people who are like them, may sound crazy for some to hear this but most countries in Europe will never accept people whose skin colour is different from them. Sad!
All the best guys, you're not alone with the move.I moved back in 2007 and all is good.Africa is flexible and ready to be explored. You gonna loooove Nairobi.
I and my man have been talking about moving back to Africa he is east African and I am west but we don't know where on the continent so it is great to see others who are doing it and it is encouraging
You both are so beautiful. Literally smiled all through.
Aww thanks!!

I’m back! Didn’t have a chance to actually watch before. Not sure if I missed it but are you coming back to the states to have the baby? And 2. Can I ACTUALLY come and visit?
Isn't it great to finally see a Kenyan with a Nigerian lady! These ladies are so elusive yet their men are all over with our ladies.
Welcome to Kenya. It's a very great country with lots that most lack in Africa. Safety and freedom is guaranteed. Yes we got electricity 24/7 and we got wifi and internet in the whole country. U just gotta buy the data though.
We also have the best weather thro out of the year.
