the Director is Italian actually, I only know this because I was like, godamn this is excellent, some proper chavs in track suits smoking cigarettes shit (my favorite shit)... and then looked it up ... she did a great fucking job
lol I heard this now for the first time (for the band and song) and my first association was this must be Slavs, like from ex Yugoslavia.. when did UK started to look like Balkan?? :D
Dawsons heights, Stellas, Morleys, lone train rides and all and everything else .... i really felt that.... and thats just the fucking video!! the track is huge but who at this point can really be surprised by the greatness of this band?? I really love the lust for youth sounding euro guitar jangles and the house samples eeeeeaaa its just perfect really. Big up yourselves
What a refreshing and addictive track. Innovating and atypical and pure hardcore at thé same time. Can't wait for more but actually I can with this on repeat.
It’s great to see people, actually singing and expressing about the conditions around the world, but especially in the UK. A friend of mine that had been there many years ago, but then recently went back said that London in the UK are undeniably in a depression. And you can see the decay everywhere. But especially in the people. It’s interesting to see Goth and punk return but with a modern spin. It’s because both the political and economics of our current world are so similar to the 80s but on steroids! When you had climate change and and aunt. Sing your truth lida! ❤
Listened to this album this weekend on a motorcycle trip to visit family on the other side of Arkansas. Many areas of this state that this album is relatable to. Good Music.
@@angel_of_history I describe it to my friends, like a snake oil salesman, as the voice in your head when you’re f***ed. Just as smooth as the voice that revives you from your altitude.
I chatted to Graham a few weeks ago at an Angel Du$t show. He told me that this single was going to be a mix of the Cocteau Twins and U.K. garage…he wasn’t wrong lol 🤘🏻😎🔥
People don't give music enough credit for helping us grow. A great musician can articulate thoughts and feelings like no other art form IMO. Like why does that hip hop style sample work so well with a steady post punk beat? And those pained shouted lyrics? Who fucking knows, but I need it right now.
Gutted I missed these lads in Brum a couple of years back. Tickets booked for next year can’t bloody wait. First two albums are class, can’t wait for 3!
Saw these blokes in Melbourne, Australia Friday night; they didn’t play this song so I hope that means they intend to be right back because they fucking killed it.
There were elements in the music itself that reminded me of Drab Majesty and Body of light; then the DAIS record label came up at the end and I was like, “ah! That explains it.” 😂
Video director : "How british do you want your video ?"
Band : "Yes !"

Try dead sheeran another good British to the point musicians.
There is nothing British about this. It's sub "this is England" wank.
Also try People Just Do Nothing
@@Vinterbukser what that series .nagh I know the guy it was based of he got royals s ,
The sound of the UK distilled into a perfect song. A band to believe in

I only heard of them recently through Vive le Rock magazine but love what I've heard so far and this is awesome...
This is built different. What an amazing piece of music. Staggeringly British.

One of the most original tracks I've heard in a while. If this is a sign of your upcoming album, I'm sold.
You guys just keep doing your thing. We're here for it.
Had to double check the sound on my 1st listen, wasn't sure it's the same band. HOLY SHIT I CAN'T WAIT FOR THE RECORD
haha same, until I hear the singer I thought spotify messed up 🤣
That's what the video is for haha. Seeing them tonight.
Yeah, it's a fucking Godly track innit?

Now ….. this is good!!!!!! Massively underrated and refreshing sound.
This song embodies so much of the different British subcultures I love it
This is not remotely what I expected but it's exactly what I wanted
Goosbumps and it’s 28 degrees outside 👊
I can't stop listening to this. Irvine Welsh should have this in his next project
I don't even know what to call this, but it's fire!!!!

Excelente !
made me tear up
Sound remind me one not popular band from trance - assalym party. Collaboration of gentle harmonies and strong drum section. Very good
This is really different but I love it.
This feels like an old U2 song remixed for night clubs with a punk rock singer. One of the best songs of 2024. Thx so much for this.
Thank you guys!
Fucking goosebumps. Gotta be my favorite band right now
Gorgeous.
Perfect hybrid of Jamie XX and my favorite band
