I think they meant instead of Furina being a "fake archon", rather they see her as a real archon, because she did so much for the nation. If this was canon, and Furina was a REAL HYDRO ARCHON and not acting as an archon, then what happened in the game, I swear I would have cried more, Because I already considered Furina to be a genuine hydro archon, especially since this really happened in game :')
So this au is basically if focalors had not separated her divinity and created focalors to continue the plan and became Furina (and before anyone comments I believe that furina is the original counterpart as focalors is only the divinity the og focalors had as a successor and furina is basically who the og focalors was on her first day as a human in the end of the day it doesn’t really matter as both of them are still focalors)
