These Kiwis are free to go home at any time. No matter how long you have lived in Australia, if you are not a citizen then you should not expect special treatment.

    ABSOLUTELY ANZAC COUNTS,
I'm Australian 🇦🇺 and I'm ashamed of how we treat our brothers in arms. If the Crime is committed in Australia fair enough and visa versa, Aussie pulls crap in Nz, boot'em. But Bloody Shame on you Australia,
My Nz brothers and sisters there are Aussie's who remember and respect our bond, don't take such disrespect from Australia who cowers in the shadow of "america" and sadly has picked up the Karen attitude of selfishness, it was an Aussie who brought Delta to your Beautiful Country that effected Auckland. I'm sorry for that and there are more Aussie's who brought pain and shame.
    Where's your commonsense 🇦🇺
    It's ok don't strain, I'll ask the yanks😔

As a Brit living in Australia, I couldn't care less about the ANZAC spirit since it has nothing to with me. I had to get a visa to come to Australia like everybody else excluding New Zealanders, so I find the whole idea of giving special treatment to anyone based solely on nationality discriminatory. I support governments being able to deport foreigners (no matter where they are from) for serious crimes, however governments who wipe their hands clean of responsibility the way that Australia does are ridiculous. Detaining people before trail and without being convicted is illegal and against basic human rights. Give these people a trial, and deport the guilty for serious crimes. Let everyone else go!

    • @aussieleanne17

WOW...AS A BRIT YOU SHOULD KNOW, BRITISH SOLDIERS FOUGHT IN ANZAC, AT GALLIPOLI. SHAME ON YOU!
seeing as you say, it has nothing to do with you🤡
I'm Australian and I don't care if you "as uneducated as you are in the history of not only your own Country but Mine" think it's discriminatory it should be a New Zealanders right as its mine in New Zealand.
Now United Kingdom has 190 free visa Counties you can enter, I find that discriminatory🤡You came to the wrong County...😂

WRONG - it's established government policy. 2) Their rounded up....no their not, their convicted criminals given the boot after a period of jail! 3) These people are odd, any country has the right to turf out non-citizens convicted of [serious] crimes. Happens to Australians overseas....happens to Kiwis overseas. It's not "where you live" or "how long you've lived somewhere", it's your citizenship that will determine what happens to you!
These people really do give off a stench of arrogant privilege! Go to the USA and commit a serious crime....see what happens...here's a tip 1) jail.....2) the airport!

t good on hind site, and for 1 reason I became an Australian citizen because in the back of my mind one day they will change the laws and to what is happening today, no expected it and it happening, pride has a lot to do with it, " I'm not going to become an aussie staying as a kiwi and down the road the actions one takes changes there lives, for ever and the power is in your hands to do the very thing you don't want to do, is go and register yourself to become an Australian Citizen I do believe that has also changed as well very difficult to do and become an Australian Citizen, with this current Australian government that has changed these laws that has made a huge impact on the individual and family's.
There a consequences for one actions and with these laws that are in place unless the next government charges these laws the next new government i.e. Labour Party I very much doubt will happen its a huge burden to those that have been effective all I can say too those that are eligible to become an Australian Citizen do it don't wait because you are to stubborn to become one the benefit out weights by not becoming one all the best.
Maryanne one solution become a politician to make those changes.

Australia offered New Zealand that we share our resources and unite our nations and New Zealand declined. Now Kiwis expect automatic citizenship and the same rights in Australia as Aussies? You can't havevit both ways.

    Romans 13:1-5
    Respect for Authority
13 Everyone must submit to governing authorities. For all authority comes from God, and those in positions of authority have been placed there by God. 2 So anyone who rebels against authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and they will be punished. 3 For the authorities do not strike fear in people who are doing right, but in those who are doing wrong. Would you like to live without fear of the authorities? Do what is right, and they will honor you. 4 The authorities are God’s servants, sent for your good. But if you are doing wrong, of course you should be afraid, for they have the power to punish you. They are God’s servants, sent for the very purpose of punishing those who do what is wrong.5 So you must submit to them, not only to avoid punishment, but also to keep a clear conscience.

Paul was a lying deciever sucking up to the Romans, a sycophant seeking to endear his traitorous ass to the Roman occupying force by betraying the Jewish people and their religious doctrine. The Romans killed Jesus and Pauls pathetic letters suggests that God gave them authority to do so. Hitler, Stalin, Pol Pot etc all are given the green light by Romans 13. Total bullshit used by the corrupt and powerful to subjugate, control and kill. No wonder the so-called holy Roman empire embraced such a doctrine.
